I loved this trail. Awesome day hike. Went all the way up the canyon out & back. Hidden falls is also great. Saw moose and bear. Some of the most beautiful views of any hiking you could hope for!

We hiked up to the second lake, took a swim, and hiked back out. There is a shuttle from the lodge that will take you across and I think you can just hike straight up or down if you want a round trip. Check the map.

We went during beautiful wildflowers season. The path was lined with flowers in certain areas. Super beautiful.

Super quiet. We plan on doing this hike again this summer!

Only did first 4 miles but loved it!

It was great.

Gorgeous trail. Did it once, loved it so much I came back to do it again a year later. Starts off steep and strenuous, but then is a gentle incline hiking into the canyon after Inspiration Point. Lots of places to stop and rest. We saw a moose!!

Catching up on some reviews, so recognize that I was here in mid-October. Visited for a weekend to escape busy college life, and this was our first hike in the park. Very few people, which was a big plus. Falls were beautiful and already party freezing. On our way back, we went the rest of the way around the lake, not realizing how much longer it would take. Still enjoyable and recommend the hike to any visitor.

Hiked to the junction in early July, spectacular views the entire way up. Looking back i wish i continued on to lake solitude, but still one of my all time favorite hikes!

Perfect introduction hike to this beautiful National park. Not super hard gets really hot in the summer but worth every step.

Unforgettable!

Strenuous hike with a well-earned reward of two lakes and beautiful scenery at the top. We had a real surprise at Surprise Lake when a mama black bear and her two cubs joined us at the lake for their afternoon drink!

We hiked to the fork in late September. The weather was perfect - mid 60s and sunny. A lot of folks head back after seeing Hidden falls. Don’t! At the very least walk about a mile past and into the canyon. The mountains looming over all is an astounding sight! Highlight of Teton!

We did this on our way to Cascade Canyon and I highly recommend going in the spring, when the falls are really going!

Did this spectacular hike to the junction. Next time to lake solitude. Inspiration point is good and fine, but it’s the canyon that’ll keep us coming back. Going in/out of forested patches only to be hit with the breathtaking mountain views again and again is something I’ll never forget. Crowds blissfully thin out once you get into the canyon.

Did with my two daughters (6, 3) and my wife, we really enjoyed this trail. Great views pretty much most of the way. Some places along the way to stop and eat/ enjoy the views. Falls were beautiful and we continued up to lower inspiration point (the higher one was closed). On the way back we sat by moose ponds for a bit and enjoyed the stillness. Great time!

One of if not the best hikes I've done. Just incredibly beautiful. It was a little chilly and very windy in early October. Saw a tree and several branches toppled so be careful if it's windy. Amazing how fast a tree can fall when it gets going.

Hiked it today. Quite chilly, but the steep grade kept me from getting too cold on the way up. I had my puffy on for the way down. A few patches of snow and ice but nothing too bad. You can take the trail all the way to Upper Norton Lake right now. I got snowed on during the hike back downhill. I guess I missed the waterfall. Really enjoyed this hike!

Beautiful views through the whole hike. We hiked all the way to the top and my polar says it was a total of 6.5 miles from parking lot and back. Took my mom who doesn't hike much and she made it the entire way. Lots of places to stop and take breaks. Definitely a must do!

Amazing loop! My wife and I ran this loop on 10/3/17. The snow was pretty troublesome and the creek crossings were high, but the views were unbeatable.

Amazing views. We took the shuttle boat to Jenny Lake, which cuts off about 2.4 miles, but we still ended up hiking 10 miles in all (5 to reach a point in cascade canyon trail and 5 back). The first mile is steep but it levels out and it is just a lot of walking. But the views along the way get better and better and it’s worth every step! The section with the white granite boulders and wildflowers was my favorite, I could not stop taking pictures. Highly recommend this hike.

This hike was worth the challenge of getting to the top to see surprise and amphitheater lake. We started this hike out planning to go off trail to view Delta Lake, but it was snowing and making it up the boulder fields was almost impossible and too dangerous. We decided to hike up almost 3 more miles to surprise and amphitheater lake and we are glad we did. Before we went on this hike we read that black bears were known to be spotted very close to the trail. We encountered one adult black bear and then one cub an hour later who came right up to my dad. Make sure to bring some bear spray!

22 Sep it was getting snowy to the point where I turned back because I wasn't properly equipped. Looks like there was more snow last night so snowy for the 23rd. Lots of berries on the slopes so watch out for bears and make sure to carry spray and bells.

We took the ferry and then hiked all the way to where it ends. It was absolutely gorgeous! We saw three bull moose munching on plants by the river! This trail will probably be a bit strenuous for the inexperienced hiker, mainly due to the length and incline at the beginning.

Beauty that photos can't capture. Significant traffic, not challenging enough for my preference. Pretty lax. Suitable for very young and the seniors I saw. Family friendly for sure. Great hike.

A favorite!

It was my first time in Grand Teton NP and this was definitely the highlight. A hard hike with the elevation and switchbacks but absolutely worth it. Great views on the way up and the lakes were spectacular. Plenty of snow in mid-July at the top and the lake was still half covered in ice. The scenery surrounding Amphitheater was awe inspiring. An afternoon storm rolled in on the way down and we got hit with rain, hail and some lightning but still had fun.

We took the shuttle to shorten this trail with others at the end of August. We ran into a few people who had hiked the full way to the falls and they said it was very tough and would be taking the shuttle back. Anyway the views here were beautiful. The trail is VERY heavily trafficked. This is not the trail to go on if you want to be away from people. However it is heavily trafficked for a reason. There are amazing views of the mountains and of the falls.
