Lots of switchbacks but still pretty steep. Fairly difficult but the view is worth it.

good day hike. remember to pack enough clothes with elevation change from bottom to the top the temperature and weather can change pretty quickly.

I did this trail in December and mostly had it to myself on a rare sunny day in the middle of the week. The falls are huge and breathtaking. The trail is well maintained with some small inclines. There was a little ice on the inclines when I went which made it a little slippery in spots but not bad. The stairs down to the falls are worth the effort. A good short little hike and workout.

Great hike. You will cross streams to wear waterproof shoes

Not strenuous at all, but a nice wide, relatively flat walk along the riverside with smaller falls appearing first and then a beautiful high set of falls at the end of mile. Take your mom.

A fun hike. A bit muddy but we enjoyed it. Kids did better than myself who slipped a few times. There's a small river to go through...seemed a lot didn't realize this. Wear proper hiking shoes or an extra set.

Waterfall was really nice and tucked away. A bit crowded for a few moments. Overall a cool hike.

Spectacular views with just enough challenging sections! Great for either a day hike or an overnighter.

Great trails, very crowded on a weekend when the weather is nice. Hiked the High Falls Loop today starting at the main parking lot going to High Falls then Triple Falls & back on the High Falls Loop to the parking lot.

Great day to do the hike, especially since the state park was closed so not may tourists around. Total mileage was 12.2.

View at the top is worth it! Very muddy right now, and our watches showed 3 miles each way

Dear lord this was a hard trail. Me and my two best friends went camping together and we spontaneously decided to do this trail for some reason. The whole thing is pretty much uphill but the view... my god the view was incredible at the top. It was so breathtaking it made the whole hike worth it. Just a note: the three of us are not in peak physical condition. I’m moderately fit but have hypoglycemia and a syncope problem, one friend has asthma and hypoglycemia but she runs frequently, and the second friend just casually works out. It took a while to go up and down this monster but we managed it.

Great, easy hike. Beautiful the whole way. My kids love going there. However there are lots of snakes in the summer

Nice easy hike that follows creek up to falls. Super muddy yesterday 1/1/19 due to all of the rain. Don’t forget your boots

Loved the view from the top, but there wasn't much of a view at all till the overlook. Some of the other climbs we hiked had a several views along the way, this one was forest until the overlook.
Still, a fun hike, with a breathtaking view. The single vantage point, and reasonably heavy amount of traffic will probably keep me from going back, but I think it was absolutely worth doing once!

Great views. Not too difficult of a hike. Definitely worth it!

Amazing hike for very little effort! Awesome family hike!!! Highly recommend

Fun trail with breathtaking views at the top! It’s a decent hike up - also super muddy from all the rain. There were also a ton of people hiking this trail. After you get through the switchbacks, it’s a steady incline up. Bring a snack and enjoy the view at the top.

Easy hike to the falls. Today the trails were very muddy due to all of the recent rain. The new bridges definitely help with the water crossings.

Hiked on 12/29.

Terrain: Trail was rockier than expected. Combined with the trail conditions, this made for a technical hike. Elevation gain per mile is much milder than similar hikes, so it probably balances out.

Conditions: Wet. You cross creeks that feel like rivers (including a quite treacherous crossing at 1.9 miles) and there are several sections where the trail becomes a creek. After we made the final right turn to get on the ridge, we saw a significant amount of snow/ice. We didn't have microspikes and were fine, but it did make for slightly slow walking.

Views: Once you get on the ridge, there are amazing views.

Parking: Drive through the Boy Scout camp. There is designated parking for hikers at the far end of the camp. It feels like you are going to get on a government list somewhere, but if you keep going through the camp you will end up in the right spot.

Very amazing trail enjoyed every thing about it not
To hard to get to the top

Short and easy trail for those who do not want serious hiking. Very muddy December 29 due to lots of rain.

Easy trail. Crossing the river is a wet one for sure but nothing dangerous. The end result is one worth while. Beautiful falls with the ability to get up close and personal. Would be a great trip for the summer months. Highly suggest for families looking for an adventurous hike. Being extra shoes and socks. THIS HIKE IS DOABLE FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN. BRADLEY FALLS IS NOT.

Bradley Falls is one of the best waterfalls I personally have seen in North Carolina but I’ll say this. We took the trail down to the falls themselves and it is VERY DANGEROUS. The river crossing was a wet one as the log that bridged you to the other side has been washed away. The hike down is a treacherous one. A very slippery clime down with a repel that if you fall, in my opinion results in death. I honestly find it hard to believe this trail is actually open, but I did it and loved it. Again, I took the trail down to the falls. I don’t believe it’s the trail to the overlook.

Beautiful day. Great views. Recommend micro-spikes for winter ascents. Ice covered sections of the trail near the top. I also have to question that 10.4 mile out and back rating. It's more like 13 to 14 miles. Definitely on the difficult side but well worth the effort.

Trail is sometimes hard to keep track of. Start markers are faded so make sure you look left and up for the trail ,not right along the water.

Overall I would rate a B+. Experienced Hiker. trail as not strenuous at all. a touch but muddy. Not to many people on the trail, popular trail for the dogs though. Old Britsh man at the top asked if I wanted to share a pint with, I accepted the gracious offer. View was decent. Over all a good hike.

Short easy hike to an amazing waterfall. Some interesting history to read at the trail head regarding the falls. Went on a early weekday morning and had the trail all to myself which was nice. Some rock hoping required to get a good view of the falls but it's worth it!

The taller mountains were snowed in, so this was a great alternative! Lower elevation had great winter weather, and the views were still exactly what I was hoping for when we were planning this trip.

Intense ending if you attempt it

This is a very heavily trafficked trail, especially on the weekends. But it's also a very wide and well-maintained trail. It winds along the river and climbs to Triple Falls, which is nice, and up to High Falls, which is more impressive. Like most of the trails in Dupont, it's fairly wide and clear. Some steep climbs, especially for this fat, old man, but something almost anyone should be able to handle.
