Beautiful views; rough roads but worth the bumps!

Relatively short and for the most part easy. There's one section getting near the top where you have to scramble up the rocks. There's also a side trail where you can view the arch from underneath which as worth the extra little walk. The trail was quite crowded so if I went again I would go during the week and even earlier in the morning

on Cathedral Rock Trail

Very scenic, easy and not crowded if you go in the evening. Wrapped up hike right before sunset.

We planned on just soldiers pass but by 8:25 the tiny lot was full. So we went to this trail head instead. For $5 parking there is a restroom and great views to add to the total hike. I suggest reserching the arches and know where the unmarked trail is so you can see all that this trail has to offer.

Easy hike, scenic views, popular spot. About 3-4 miles round trip from parking.

If you stick out a thumb and a bee you might get a free private pink Jeep tour from a local on the walk back :)

We took Chuck Wagon Trail there and back. We got there around 7:30am and easily found parking. Nice, easy hike most of the way. It was a little bit of a climb at the very end but nothing crazy and well worth it :)

The only reason I would rate this as moderate would be because it’s long and the hike up to cathedral. The loop is all flat with lots of mountain bikers but super pretty. Bring water not too much shade!

This is an extremely popular hike and the parking lot stayed full so there was a lot of parking on the road. We drove our Jeep in on the wide, rocky path for about a quarter-mile and hiked in the rest. There are several, well setup steep steps which quickly add to the elevation of this hike but I overheard several folks say it is well worth the effort, and I certainly agree.

It was pretty good. Nothing too crazy. It’s close to a vortex as well.

Unbelievable at sunset- we were up there with only three others and were treat to an incredible experience. Windy at the top!

Hiked Thursday 4/12 in the afternoon. Super popular and busy trail- not for those looking for solitude. Easy inclines and everyone is patient to allow each person to walk onto the bridge for a photo op. Great views.

Dust and vehicles on the trail leading to the trailhead are annoying, but the views from the top are well worth the time. Doable in ~45 minutes to 1 hour one way.

on Devils Bridge Trail

Nice and easy trail, with a little bit of difficulty at the end, finishing with a beautiful view!

Short easy walk but worth the stop, fantastic cliff dwellings.

This is one of my top 10 trails! Absolutely beautiful! Canyon walks change with every turn. Went beyond the end point for extra scenery. It was amazing.

Great short hike with moderate to difficult vertical climb mid way up to the summit. Spectacular views. One of my favorite hikes.

Great trail.. well marked and beautiful at every turn. Be sure to go on to the very end of the Canyon. There the walls of the Canyon surround you and the creek runs through. Soft trail with some climbing and navigating of creek crossing. Crossed the creek 28 times in all.

Always hard to get a parking spot, and never a disappointed hike!

Very beautiful hike featuring Sedona’s iconic red rock cliffs, gorgeous riparian areas, pine trees, and flowing water. The only bummer is the wait to get in and the crowds... so be early. It’s fabulous from beginning to end! My gps clocked 7.5 miles but we went a little past the end of the maintained trail, which I would recommend doing if you wanna see more beauty of the creek and narrow red rock walls. Super easy hike to do for all ages and dogs. Took about 4 hrs with frequent stops for pictures.

Go early as soon as the gate opens at 8. Excellent views of the rock formations from all degrees. Be sure to stop at the Mesa. Lots of rock steps as part of the trails. Well marked in most places. Just follow the footsteps if you can’t tell which way to go. No bicyclists, jeeps, or casual hikers in sandals. Panoramic views everywhere!

The hike from the parking lot wasn’t too bad. If you have a 4wheel drive car and sits high, you can go down the trail and park it closer, then hike your way up. Very cool spot to add to the list.

Awesome quick trail with lots of fun climbing

Loved this hike! Crosses the very shallow creek many times and it's easy to get your feet wet, but that was my favorite part of the trail (as well as the very end). Make sure to wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty/wet and maybe extras to put on at the end. Keep in mind parking is very limited so you will probably have to wait for parking spaces to open up. Cash only entry.

I like others also consider this closer to moderate. If you throw in the Tabletop Trail side trail then moderate for sure.

Biggest obstacle is parking. I use the Bandit Trail which gives a little more elevation as well as some other parking options that only locals seem to know about. There are 4-5 spaces in the parking lot at Tom Lawler Plumbing.

A very scenic trail, probably the most scenic in all of Sedona. I’ve done it about 5-6 times over the years. Great views of Cathedral Rock on the southeast side. Even better views if you opt to add a mile to your hike by taking the Tabletop Trail.

The trail itself isn’t that bad in terms of foot traffic. Just get there early for parking.

Loved the hike. We went with our 6 year old and 14 year old and it took us a total of 6 hours to complete the hike at their pace. We enjoyed the multiple creek crossings and especially the end when it narrows and you have to walk in the creek to continue. Bring waterproof hiking shoes, it will make the hike more comfortable.

Fun hike for the family with a great view. Our 6 year old said this was her favorite hike of our trip to Sedona.

Not too difficult, some good views along the way and a cool finish at the bridge. Go early for parking and to avoid the masses of people.

Started from Chuckwagon to avoid hiking the dirt road. 4.6 miles round trip per Garmin. Trail was crowded and noisy. The arch is great for pictures and there are scenic red rock views along the way, but can get those views anywhere in Sedona. Will opt for a path less taken next time.
