We had the trail mostly to ourselves! The views were stunning. It hailed for first five minutes, but other than that weather was mostly cloudy with the sun making an appearance now and then. Like other reviewers have said, the last bit before cave is challenging. Going down, I had to slide down on my bum at a couple spots. A wonderful day!

The only word to describe this hike is pure magic. We battled inclement weather but were fortunate to have an extremely experienced guide show us the way. We cannot recommend Kanab Adventure Tours enough. (Ask for Trevor Lee!) We owe the success and safety of this trip solely to Trevor. Not only did he carefully and confidently carve the path, but he was able to teach us both new back country how-to’s. With snow falling vigorously, there was zero doubt that we weren’t going to be successful. With the weather in mind, we ended up doing The Wave, up to the second wave, looped around to The Boneyard, and then dropped down into Wire Pass/Buckskin for the return...in all it was about an 8.5 mile/6 hour endeavor. The juice was worth the squeeze, but if there is bad weather brewing...get a guide. PS. She said yes at the wave!!!

Probably the best hike I’ve ever done in my life up till today. Took maybe 3+ hours to go up and down. First part is easy but gets steep in some parts. It was breathtaking with all that snow and the sun out! At the top you need spikes on your boots and it’s definitely not for everyone. It can get scary at some points... I wanted to take more pics but many times I needed both hands to keep going up. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Great short trail. Loved it. Luckily got a place at the second parking lot as someone left. Went at sunset. Hike has lots of novel sections, but all are very easy to walk. The view was incredible and the photos I got were great. I’ll add one or two. There were quite a few people at the end of the trail watching sunset and a photographer and model taking a shoot. The return was almost in a group as it got dark, but was quite nice as everyone was buzzing from the views/sunset.

HikingGreat!Snow

Fantastic trail. Great work out and sights. The winter storm arrived that morning so I went early. The chain section had about an inch of snow when I arrived. Minus the slippery wet/snow this was a great time of year to do it, saw no one until the chains and only a few on the way back. Beautiful views, even if you don’t make it all the way out on the chained section.

Super easy trail! If you have a fear of heights or vertigo, I could see how this could be difficult. The first time I did this hike, I actually carried In n Out burgers to eat at the top! It gets a little tricky to maneuver around at some points but other than that, if you don’t have much time in Zion, I would 100% recommend this trail!

You should do the whole of Buckskin Gulch, but if you don't have time, Wire Pass is a great half day hike. I took my dog through Buckskin and out Wire Pass a few years back. Higher Clearance vehicle is recommended. 4x4 if you're driving any further than Wire Pass TH.

Great trail. Although difficult... the path, views and switchbacks keep entertained.

Parking is very busy on the weekend, ended up parking in overflow and adding an extra half mile to our hike. Also, my friend’s car got her windows bashed in and stolen out of her car. Other than that, the hike was fun before all of that. Note that this happened two weeks, but let this be a reminder to not leave valuable items in your car!

Be considerate of right of way and don’t sit on the wave to have lunch, blocking great pictures for everyone else. Trail was easy to follow after reading other people’s suggestions. Follow the white arrows painted on large rocks. There is one fork in the path, stay to the left. Hike in the same direction as the cave. Bring extra water, it’s tougher than I thought. I took my 4 and 5 year old. They managed well. Unfortunately, many hikers did not understand proper hiking etiquette. Hikers coming UP get the right of way. If you are coming down, move, to let those coming up go first. It’s exhausting to constantly lose momentum. It was a very busy day. The cave and trail were full of people. Some groups of people decided they should have lunch on the wave. Which ruined pictures for other people. Incredible. But it was a beautiful experience.

This is absolutely an amazing trail, not very difficult. Went during the snow and loved every scene. The aroma here is truly something too. January in Zion is too cool!

The narrows were absolutely amazing! The weather was hot so it felt so nice hiking up the river. I will be making a youtube video on my narrows hike real soon! My youtube name is Magana Ventures. But for now, I uploaded an amazing bike ride on the scenic drive from stop 9 (the narrows) down to park entrance. This is the absolute best way to see Zion! Also I uploaded a video on the paved portion of the hike! I'll leave the links below, check them out! A beautiful hike ! Not busy today due to the weather so it was perfect ! The last 400 ft before the cave does get rugged so wear gloves and be prepared but not bad at all! Even with a hail storm on the way down this trail and the Suoerstitions did not disappoint!
