Hiked on 1/22, started at around 4:10pm, aiming for sunset. Beautiful sunlight with mild wind. Ranger said the last 0.5 miles of the trail are very icy in morning; when we arrived around 5pm, only part of the trail was covered by ice, probably melted already. micro-spikes helped a lot. The Arch under the sunset was amazing. Love the glowing orange color on the Arch. Totally worth the effort. Heading down after getting dark is a bit challenging, especially the icy part. We brought a flashlight and it was a life saver.

Best hike in the park. If you see snow on the ground don’t do this hike without crampons or spikes. There wasn’t much up and downs. You need good footing and strong feet for this hike. I would highly suggest if you capable.

Great hike. Easy going at the start with a little challenge on the last leg due to ice and snow. Sand and groomed trail to start, changing to rock midway and then back to mixed sand and rock at the end. Short ledge section at the final part.
Wonderful views both of the arch and the surrounding valleys. Haven't hiked in a while so it was a longer trip than it might normally be. Very worth it, especially since we were the only people there at the time (mid January).

Nice view, super easy hike and was pretty empty early on this time of year.

This is a get your picture and leave type of hike. Compared to Corona and Bowtie, it was meh. The arch itself is awesome. The hike up is nothing special. At the top, you’re met with a whole bunch of people with little hiking ettiequte. People perched under the arch making it impossible to get a photo and groups of people talking and yelling.

An all around better option is Corona and Bowtie. The drive there is AWESOME! The hike is so freaking fun and the arch is just as spectacular.

You have to see Delicate arch when you come to Utah, but definitely don’t do this as your only arch hike!

Wow! (In Owen Wilson’s voice)
This trail was EPIC! Incredible views and 100% worth it! It was considered moderate for us. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to hike up and 40 minutes to go back down. It was a little Icy but nothing too crazy. Elevation gain was a little difficult at times, but doable. Definitely a must do! Unbelievable views at the arch!

Short and easy yet stunning and beautiful. Delicate arch, probably the most famous of all the arches and understandably so.

It is “only” 1.5 miles each way, but there is a lot of elevation and uneven footing. Right now there is also snow and ice. So I would say it is moderate to difficult. BUT totally worth it. Amazing to see the Arch up close! This is a must-do in the park!

Right off the main road, making it a very busy place. Still a great and easy landmark to visit!

Beautiful evening to see the most iconic natural structure in Utah! It was a perfect hike with excellent views. The only downside is all the tourists who actually walk directly under the arch. Had to photoshop quite a few people out of my photos!

Wonderful surprise!!! Absolutely worth the hike

Amazed how the arches were formed! Love it!

Great trail, long hike mostly on redrock. Very short portion through the sand. Recommend, definitely worth the view and picture at the end.

Did this hike in 103 degrees which SUCKED. But once you get to the top, the view is gorgeous. The hike isn’t too long, but it’s essentially straight up the entire way. Definitely wear good hiking shoes, as the rock is in a fish bowl formation at the arch, and can be slippery and if you fall... well... ya done lol. Definitely bring water, and LOTS of sunscreen if going during the summer, there are no trees on the way up.

I hiked this trail five days ago before the snow hit Arches. It was lovely. I took primitive trail around to the dark angel and then back on the main trail. Definitely need to follow the cairns and keep an eye out for them but even with that the travel was pretty well marked. It was a moderately challenging walk, relatively flat with a few climbs here and there. Very enjoyable and nice way to see a lot of Arches.

Was cold and windy, had the most people of any of the hikes I did. I took the primative trail from the back side and saw very few people was well worth the hike

Great hike, at times following the trail on the slick rock was challenging but very few people had no one at Navajo and only a couple of people at Double Arch. Temp was 18 degrees at 8:30 am when I started well worth the hike

Started this at 9:00 AM with the temp at 16 degrees. Had more people than I thought given the weather but was well worth the hike

Amazing park!

awesome hike!

This is a great hike and you get to see Landscape arch, Partition arch and Navajo arch. Totally worth it just that the trail is not very well marked and we got easily lost at couple of points.

Awesome hike. We did it during sunset and the view was so pretty, literally the arch glows blissful sight to be there.

Sunrise on Cmas was unbelievably gorgeous.

One of the best hikes! Did this on Dec. 25. Trail was icy. It was icy and very slippery near Double O arch. So bring some traction control with you if you are doing it in winters. You will not regret the additional weights of it when approaching Double O. It took us almost 6 hours to finish it. But again, we took a lot of breaks to take photographs. Also, the hike definitely seemed more than 7 miles. My fitbit, by the end of the hike, showed we had walked 9 miles. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you want to beat the winter crowds, start early around 7-8am and a minimum of 2 liters of water even in winter.

Christmas Day 2018 was spectacular

We tackled this hike on Christmas Day. Had the whole place to ourselves and it was an amazing experience! Not icy at all, and we only got lost once just like many of the people commenting below...I bet in the same spot! Did anyone else get frustrated and almost climb down that 50-ft crevasse? Definitely do NOT need to do any death defying leaps, the correct pathway is very safe. Highly recommend for families or hikers looking for a one-of-a-kind trail.

Unbelievable hike. I took the primitive trail and had a hard time staying on the trail even with this app, and it involved more scrambling than I expected!

Was a great afternoon hike to watch the sunset. I highly recommend.

Went in via the primitive trail, made for a much more rewarding experience when you reach the arches. Bring 1.5 gallons of water per person, heat stroke is no joke. We left at 5 am mid July to beat the heat! Great sunrise - 10/10

Easy hike that isn’t too crowded in late October. Unbelievable views for the price of admission (a few miles and few hundred feet of elevation gained)
