So much fun! All incline going up but so so worth it. Lots of cool views, spots to eat, and nice people. We went Monday morning around 8:00 am and had to park on side of road so it fills up quick.

Amazing hike. Well maintained and not crowded at all on a Saturday (was overcast). I was amazed that a few folks (not hikers) started this after 6pm It’s definitely a 5.5-6 hr hike if moving quick. I took my time and did it in 7.

HARD AND LONG. Very worth it though. Be prepared for 7 hours or so if you’re going all the way up to Mount Le Conte.

Not the easiest but the portion from Alum Cave to the lodge is the best part of this hike! Went up to the summit of LeConte past the lodge, but there wasn’t much to see there, not even a sign. Beautiful lodge, stop by the office to get lunch or cookies.

Gorgeous and challenging trail! There are a lot of great stopping points, including overlooks and the cave. Pack plenty of water and a lunch, as this trail takes 5+ hours. We did this trail in the middle of the week and it was PACKED. We got there around 730am and got one of the very last spots in the overflow lot. People were already parking along the street. Definitely need to start this one early to avoid the crowds!

WalkingGreat!

Haha Great hike! As a inexperienced hiker, this was a challenging hike. Took us around 3 hours on the way up, with stops for pictures and snacks. Like most have said, the hike to Alum Cave is pretty easy but totally worth it to keep going and get to the top of LeConte!

Our second time to hike this trail and each time it's been absolutely beautiful! Spring of 2018 and then yesterday. Hike to Alum Cave is not too bad but past that to Mt Le Conte was pretty hard but so worth it! Once you get to the lodge continue for .2 miles to get to the cliff. The views here are breathtaking. Highly recommend!

First of all, it's literally uphill the ENTIRE time... like I was DEAD... but the view at Cliff Tops was so worth it (about 3.5hrs to get to and a must see)... way back down wasn't nearly as bad and less than 2hrs since it was all down hill (except a small section) and what everyone else says, get there early! Also, the view and scenery the entire time was absolutely gorgeous!

Awesome hike. First 2.5 miles filled w steam crossings, arch rock and alum cave...absolutely beautiful! Second 3.5 miles is a grind to cliff tops rewarded w vistas and Le conte office where u can buy a hat or shirt commemorating your accomplishment. Got there at 7:30am and found one of the last parking spots. Crowded but polite hikers... most wearing masks when crowded. Cold in morning. Wear layers. Enjoy!
