Easy trail all the way from Springer Mountain. Some nice camping at Three Forks.

Walked this trail on 12/6/18 , it was easy to get around and we really enjoyed it . We were the only one on the trail the whole time :) Parked at the Trading Post and started right behind it . Was hoping to buy a parking pass around there somewhere but we had to go to the visitor center ( not far from there ) and purchased one . We bought one with a military discount for a whole year . Great beginner trail as I’m trying to enjoy more of Georgia’s trails in the future .

nice hike!

Beautiful walk in the woods! The trees had awesome autumn leaf color (mostly the yellow colored leaves) which lit up the trail. Such a wide variety of fungi, too! There were ferns, moss, mountain laurel, rocks, wooden footpath bridges, creeks, a small waterfall, and I could go on and on. It took us 2 hours and 25 minutes to do the loop. We parked at No Name Parking Lot and started there and went down the main trailhead just a wee bit before we hit the crossroads to make our turn onto the loop. The trail is well marked, too.

Beautiful, easy hike to the falls. Great setting with easy, safe photo opportunities. This trail was active with many groups of hikers of all ages. We started our day with 3 Forks Trail Loop across the trail head and then ended with this hike to the falls. We are glad we made the extra effort to see the falls. Also appreciated that the loop we did first was quieter and less traveled. The two hikes together give the best of both worlds if you are fit enough to hike 7+miles in a day.

This hike was the first hike I ever took my girls on. It was super easy. We saw deer and all other sorts of woodland creatures. They loved looking for fairy houses!

Perfect time of year to hike this trail! Beautiful colors and scenery. Recommend stopping mid-way and taking the steep little trek to the smaller falls before the larger falls . . . both are amazing!

Beautiful scenery.

$5 fee, crowded with large slow moving groups.

Really nice spot. Took 11, 9, and 3 yr olds and they all had a good time. Difficulty is what you make it. Somewhat steep track down a hill to the falls, the rocks on the stream can be tricky if you decide to play around on them, but nothing has to be too crazy if you don’t want it to be and you can still enjoy a great view and environment.

tricky for me but the waterfall is worth it

Beautiful fall day and a great afternoon hike with the dog.

Nice and easy trail. Great for those who like to have a chat while hiking.a few places to sit near the falls and have a peaceful experience.

Dont go on the rocks, the warns are real. witness an experienced hiker lose their footing and got cut up. There are many small broken shells all in the water that may act like razors.

Very easy, peaceful hike. Went on a warm Sunday fall afternoon and only saw 3 other people. Very flat for 95% or more of the time. Most creek crossings have a bridge; only a couple times towards the end do you have to cross by foot.

Nice trail not much traffic, beautiful plants and trees, mostly along a creek.

Beautiful. There are several places to view the canyons from the top if you dont want to hike down. Some things to note that I haven't seen mentioned- there is a $5/car parking fee AND there is a bit of water at the bottom of the canyons. Nothing deep, maybe an inch or less, but if you aren't wearing the right shoes you will end up soggy! Still, a great hike. We will be going back to do the longer loop.

This trial offers the same beautiful views of the canyon floor as the backcountry loop trail but with a lot less mileage

TOO MANY SPIDERS AND SPIDERWEBS TO RUN. I had to go back. Plus I parked at an Elementary School which idk if that was ok but... no parking for trail access. Woodsy but needs some upkeep and maintenance.

Great, easy hike along a creek with a Falls. Good spot to camp for a night on the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain.

Took my son and dog for an afternoon trip. Easy trail and safe. Beautiful views.

This was a nice short hike with stunning views of the falls. We went early in the morning on a Saturday and by the time we were leaving the trail was starting to get busy. We took our 50 pitbull mix and she handled the trail fine and she couldn't resist jumping in the water. This was the perfect spot to try out our new hiking gear before embarking on longer treks in the Smokies.

This our trial run to get our packs adjusted before starting on the Application trail. we have been going here for many years, and love it

4th time out here this year. The canyon walls are gorge-ous.

Not a difficult walk down to the bottom of the canyon, from there on it’s pretty flat and a lot of fun to explore!

A beautiful waterfall!!!! Easy loop, definitely go again.

Short walk right to the falls

Great short trail with some steep inclines and declines through wooded areas and flats near the creek. Saw 2 young deer as well as tons of turtles and fish along creek. Great hike.

One of my favorite trails to hike. Pretty easy and the waterfall is beautiful. The 5 mile dirt road to it is amazing as well. Love the view!
