Beautiful walk. Abit muddy in places but generally a lovely walk in the Norfolk countryside.

This walk takes you through the lovely minsmere with well marked out paths all the way, then along a shingle beach, a real bird watchers paradise, and finally through open farmland and alongside a river, very highly recommended.

Love this walk! Beautiful, great mix of fields, woodland and beach, plenty of trees to perch on along the estuary too.

very pleasant views, nice walk.

Saying it’s near levington will get people lost. It’s on the other side of the river Orwell on the Shotley peninsular. It’s a hamlet within Chelmondiston.

Lovely walk, dog friendly, beautiful sceneries. I'd The loop around the pub allows a quick stop for a refreshing cider midway. I'd classify as easy. Good mix of terrains. Not for swimming.

Straightforward directions, stunning views. The road walking section is short and pretty quiet.

Walking

The walk is very pleasant, can be difficult at high tide when river rises over the small beach. The marsh section was impassable when we were there 1hr after high tide. We would like to do the marsh walk but timing has to be exactly right and even then I suspect very muddy. The loop is good seeing farmland and the outskirts of Waldringfield village.

A variety of scenarios, raging from a bit of forest, to sea, dunes to farm land. Easy path to walk in and to find your way through. Highly recommended.

WalkingClosed

We attempted this route 2 days ago unfortunately, the path at Muck route (section 3) is currently under maintenance and temporarily closed. there is no diversion, so cut short our walk. Also, the path leading up to New Rd (section 2) is very overgrown and dense (upto 8 foot high in places). passable, but not enjoyable! We hope to revisit this route later in the year.
