Great off leash place for your dog! Beautiful views, and great trails!

Beautiful scenery and nice stop in Acadia Park.

Easy hike with great views around the pond. Boardwalk was a little slick, so extra traction may be required in icy spots.

Love this trail! Not a very long hike but you get some really great views of sand beach and the beehive across the way.

Beautiful views of the waves crashing against the cliffs as well as the sandy beach.

Nice views but you won’t lack for company. Parking is horrible during peak times.

Very easy trail w some beautiful views and wooden bridges. Nice in November as it’s not crowded and was able to go w my pup.

This trail DOES NOT go to the ladders. The ladders are on the trail coming up from Echo Lake

Nice and easy, but if it's cloudy visibility can be seriously limited.

Very unique experience. We only did the part from Bar Harbor to Bar Island. Can get very windy. Lots of sea gulls to watch as you walk. A very easy walk.

lovely sunrise today but very busy. The loop is nice and easy to do

Loved this easy hike - we thought the ‘boardwalk’ was fun and the entire trail is very picturesque. Saw folks of all ages and several people had their dogs along. Reward yourself with a delicious popover at Jordan House!

I loved it, I took Teds advise and went left starting out. Def thanked him in the end. And enjoyed the fresh pop-over after the hike. It was gorgeous all the way around.

Good short trail with spectacular views. I didn't run across a lot of other hikers. Pay attention to the blue trail markers. It's easy to get turned around at the top.

Loved this trail. Went with my 63-year-old mother and took my husky and we had a great time. The West Side is definitely more work (bogwalk and rocks here) and the east side is a breeze with wonderful photo ops so plan which aide you want to tackle first. Total it probably took us almost two hours at a nice stroll with lots of stops for pictures. It was a rainy day so the few portions of rock walking and bogwalk were a tad slippery - I would recommend aiming for a dryer day. It was foggy but we have excellent pictures and it actually gave Jordan Pond a beautifully unique scene. I would absolutely do again and am very happy we took the time to do this loop!

Super short and easy trail, went from the beech cliff parking lot all the way up to the vista, then went downhill using the ladder trail....then I had to come all the way back up which was tiring as hell and finished off with a nice nature walk on the canadian cliff trail

Kind of crowded considering the tour buses dropping off mad loads of people every hour or so. Though its better to go off the trail on your own away from the crowds and find a nice spot to sit and have lunch.

Loved it wish I would of had time to stop and enjoy the views more

Great views of Long Pond and really great views at the summit of Beech Mtn. Climb the fire tower for even better views!

Loved it. Nice short hike with a good climb.

Nice trail with great views.

Great iron rung & ladder trail at Acadia that our family really enjoyed! Very short but fun & rewarding with amazing views. Avoid if wet or rainy. Very safe. Just take your time if with younger kids.

A nice walk to do to get a different view of Bar Harbor from the island. Easy leisurely walk for pets & kids as well. As the tide changes, so cool to see the sea life & shells as you walk across the landbridge. A lot people doing the same thing but you dont get a crowded feel.

Definitely go up the SOUTH end if doing the loop around Jordan Pond to Pemetic Mountain and then head down the North end trail to get back to Jordan Pond.

Easy trail absolutely beautiful . Don't forget your camera. No trekking poles required . They'll just get in the way of other hikers. Right side of lake smooth hard pack left side of lake your walking on planks for a good distance. Highly recommended

Was a great hike with amazing views!!!

This is a really unique, beautiful trail! Short in distance, but definitely quite a few scrambles to keep things interesting! Look for loons and other seabirds diving for fish.

Good for kids. The fire tower at the peak is especially rewarding for the kids.
