Lovely trail with views. Feb and March seem like a great time to go to avoid the heat and rattlesnakes.

Nice hike, lots of lovely dogs, very pretty but not spectacular. I went during the week l, so there was plenty of parking and many times where I was alone on the trail.

Great trail , beautiful views , other trails you can take for more scenery , love the coast views

Beautiful hike but as of today there’s no more swing. It’s been cut off.

great bridge views, little crowded, very windy

Great hike! Crowded! Parking is hard because the lot is small. Had to park down the road. If you follow the suggested route, the first part is paved and relatively flat, the way back is more challenging with some uphills. Trails well marked, easy to follow. Love the dogs!!

The hike and weather was beautiful today 2/10/18. A few big inclines but our 9 year old was able to manage with a few breaks. Although I didnt use this app to record my hike, our loop was 5.02 miles. I gave it 2 stars because it's an overpopulated trail. Lots of groups, bikers, runners and lots lot lots of dogs off leash, even though dogs must be kept on leash. There was a park ranger ticketing people who had dogs were off leash. The parking lot and surrounding area was jammed packed. Even though the trail is beautiful, I wouldn't be back.

Parking was a little bit challenge when I arrived this morning. Maybe because it's a weekend. its a great place to hike.

Have to say I really love this trail! It should be my favorite trail so far. This distance is a little bit challenge for my boyfriend. But I want him to exercise more, so it’s good for us. View is super nice! Hope we can go for a hike here very often!

Bald Ridge is a narrow path with brush - Runners may want to use Prospect Gap and Meridian Road paths

The views were great! The trail markers were a bit confusing so make sure you talk to a Park Ranger before starting

Nice hike. Early morning fog provides some drama to this hike.

Beautiful trail with very little incline. There is definitely a lot of dogs and bikers on the trail. There is also picnic areas and bathrooms along the trail

Great for a day hike with the pup. Highly recommend French trail and redwood peak trails. They are pretty amazing.

This trail map should not include Point Bonita Trail. There's not a direct way to get from the Wolf Ridge-Lagoon Loop to Point Bonita without walking on the side of the road and through parking lots. Also, while the Miwok/Coastal/Lagoon trails are all dog-friendly, the Lighthouse Trail is definitely not. Just cut off the Lighthouse trail from this map and you've got a perfect day hike loop. A lot of confused people go into the park looking for the "Marin Headlands Loop trail" but won't find that. Just look for the Miwok or Lagoon trails to get started.

Came across 5 friendly dogs looking to be petted.

Spectacular views indeed, but you walk next to a road almost the entire time, which personally I don't consider a particularly nice hike.

Me and my partner came here not knowing where the trail started. We parked at the base of the mountain, took a map and started. Obviously it's a mountain so lots of inclines. It ended up being a whole day hike and it was dark by the time we made it back to our car. Really nice views at the top! We spotted a lot of deer on our way back.

It's a nice trail for beginners, lots of redwood. Glad I got to see ladybugs gathered in several locations in the park.

Loved this hike, but make sure you have good hiking shoes. Only reason it’s not 5 Stars for me is the fact that you start the hike with a steep up hill AND end it with a steep up hill. Very beautiful though.

Loved! Great work out and a nice mix of up and down. The trail was really steep and loose at points so make sure you’ve got good shoes (and you clip your toenails!).

Beautiful and peaceful. We hardly saw another person.

This hike was moderately strenuous but doable for the average person. Parking is great but does fill up if you do a late morning early afternoon hike. The hike begins as a steady climb until you reach elevation 1300. Afterwards it is a rolling up and down hike. This was not the most beautiful but it did have a good panoramic view of Rossmore, Walnut Creek and Benicia. The hike was mostly in sun and very little shade so bring water and hat. I brought my dog and he had a great workout. Many people bring their dogs and many walk them off lease. Con against hike was lots of cow/horse droppings for the dogs to walk on and roll in. The area is a cattle area so that would be expected. I ran into lots of people so it was not a solitude type of hike. Almost a little to crowded for my taste but the people who hiked it were friendly.

Outstanding hike and views! Just a great day!

I wished dogs were leashed!

Great trail - beautiful redwoods, well shaded. This trail is on the harder end of the moderate - a lot of ups and downs.

Great trail I've done many times with a lot of different friends. One I miss in the area.
