My fav snow shoe spot close to denver. Always guaranteed to be a winter wonderland. Take the fork to the left for skiing and snow showing. To the right there is snowmobilers. My dog loves this trail!

great snow right now!

Very awesome, only did it halfway due to my tires.

Beautiful, great views, clean trail. My wife and I took the trail from near Glacier Lake down to the trailhead at Sugarloaf. Mostly snowpacked and no problem for our 2017 Jeep Renegade.

Pretty solid drive, I got stuck in the snow twice because I am an idiot. That being said we used the trail network to get to St. Mary’s. Snowpack there is pretty firm, taste 7/10, texture 8/10. Some of it definitely had a distinct Cheesecake Factory smell, but that might have just been the mink poop.

Great trail, the snow and ice made it a little difficult.
JK 2dr on 37’s with 4.88’s and lockers. If there is snow, put a winch on your jeep

Easy road, lots of great views, we did it into the night and was still very fun

Fun as hell I did in my stock Sahara!

Super easy for a Jeep, mostly just good views, there’s a couple spots along the way to pull off and check everything out.

Drive this last weekend in my stock JK rubicon. Made it 5-6 miles in before the snow became too much for the Jeep. Definitely need to come back once it melts, I only saw people with snowmobiles out there when I went so mid November is too late in the season for my Jeep.

My buddy and I took our trucks up here. Had a great time. I’d say the trail is moderate but there is one section that is very technical. Right next toe Quartz Hill. The right side was tough for my friend without lockers. He ended up breaking an islet arm. My Raptor did just fine.

Hiked this in spikes on 10.21.18. Great workout and spectacular views from the top. A hidden gem that isn’t heavily trafficked in off season.

Vehicle: 2008 Rubicon with AEV 3.5” lift and 33” tires. Drove it on oct 28. Clear sunny day and the trail was in good shape. Good moderate trail for someone stepping up from the easy trails. Enjoyed the drive and had great scenery along the way with some amazing vistas of Estes Park and the Range above Beaver Meadows.

After going through the notch counter clockwise we couldn’t find the return leg of the trail 247 and ended up cutting across the only marked trail which put us back on the trail we had taken heading up hill. Has the trail changed recently?

About 3.5 miles from the summit parking lot the road turns to ice right as the Rogers Pass sign comes into view. Bring a friend and a winch or chain up if you plan on going past the gate at the bottom of the trussel. I had a fox sniffing my tires as I was writing this :)

Easy drive up to the fork where we ran into plenty of snow.

Really fun trail, not for beginners though. Lift, skid plates and rock sliders are a must, as there are lots and lots of very big rocks. The lake is very beautiful. Lockers are helpful if you are more adventurous and want to go for the harder lines, but can be completed without. This trail is also wide enough for full size trucks.

Super easy trail. A Subaru Outback could run it. Great views of the continental divide. Dispersed camping is a plus. As of November 2018 it's probably covered in a few feet of snow.

Exactly what we wanted. Basically a very unique dirt road with fall offs, and narrow roads. We only came in contact with 1 vehicle in the north direction and had a stock Jeep Compass behind us. Great camping spots now that we know they are there. It does take you out to the middle of nowhere, so it’s a hour to get anywhere from where it ends.

Fun trail for sure. Take all the side trails. Fun rocks to climb and a couple obstacles you actually have to look at taking the proper line. You need to walk a few hundred yards to get to the plane crash area. Pretty neat.

Beautiful trail. A little tricky in some spots. Very rocky. Nice fall drive.

good trail to take your jeep for a nice drive

Great trail in Polaris Ranger Crew 570-4! Love the scenery (old trestles). Need off-road capability to get to end of trail (before closed tunnel).

This is a beautiful trail that gets increasingly more difficult. Most of the trail I traveled was slow going, bumpy and rocky with a few sections that had me wondering but wasnt bad after doing it. There are little off shoots and trails that look fun but not many places to park and enjoy. Up until Pisgah Spur most 4x4 vehicles will be alright, however, right before there and at that section you will certainly need a more serious jeep. I could not get past that section and had to back up down the hill and thats when I got in trouble. I got stuck and had to be rescued. I was very lucky to have cell service and called Co 4x4 Rescue. They are life savers. 2.5 hours later they showed up with a convoy of jeeps in the dark and bailed me out. Needless to say I felt really stupid that day. Lifted F350. pretty enjoyable trail. Couple mostly easy beside the downhill at the back of that trail. I had a wheel up a time or two. You'll want a spotter and or armor underneath

-I dont know if I managed to miss all the obstacles, but I would rate this trail easy

-i wouldn't go unless you are in an ATV, so many of them already. I was worried about hitting them as they flew around corner.

- there are better trails close by

+beautiful trails above the treeline
+more trails than what the app said
+beautiful lakes

-1 or 2 mildly challenging spots
-nearly all very rocky, but I imagine that comes with the altitude

Switzerland trail was not a challenge at all! we saw a mini van out here. look out for lots of pedestrians on foot and on their pedal bikes. IF you choose to go down Pennsylvania gultch, then make sure you have a good 4×4 and clearance. It is extremely tight and very challenging. stock jku Rubicon

Such cool trails. Amazing views, nothing super technical but good all around. I'll just let the videos speak for themselves.

Had a Great day on Pole Hill. Not a ton of foliage but still great views. Ran in stock 2018 4 runner TRD off road. Some places where clearance was a bit of an issue but nothing I was unable to handle. Had a great spotter which made it possible. Glad I have a front skid plate.
