Loved this trail where fresh water meets salt. Absolutely beautiful! Bucket list ✔

4/8/2018 must go now, flowers in full bloom, water fall is huge after this rain season

Lengthy but calm. Views are so incredibly worth it. Go on a weekday and start before 10am. My favorite hike to date. Will be returning.

Bring a picnic, friend, swim suit for the lake and enjoy!

Pretty little walk going past some lovely coastal views. Hang out by one of the beaches and watch the waves crashing onto boulders. Peaceful ♥️

Beautiful and fun! Best hike so far

We started the hike from ohlone college. Parking was not a problem. Started at 8:30 am. Weather was perfect today, partly cloudy. One of the good workout hike. This is definitely not an easy one. But not that cannot be done. Hike at your own pace and you should be fine. Views from the top were mind blowing. I would love to do it again!

My friend and I did this hike last month with weighted vests.
It was very mild, although my big o' hiking boots were probably too heavy for walking in sand.
We started while it was still pitch black and didn't see anyone until a mile or 2 headed back.
There is an insane amount of elk and some foxes and deer.
The flowers were beautiful. We even got some light rain, so it was wonderful!

Do this hike now, while the wildflowers are in bloom!

If you go on a weekend, start early to avoid crowds. We left at 9AM and enjoyed walking through the fog as it burned off. Passed only a few people on the way in. The last quarter of the hike (around 11:30), the trail had become unpleasantly crowded.

We are fit backpackers and finished the trail in 3 hours and 10 minutes.

Amazing hike! A family favorite.

Scenic walk alongside beach cliffs. First meanders around Four Seasons properties, then crosses a golf course, and then continues along fields. Fairly popular but not too crowded. Several opportunities to go down to the water towards the southern side of the walk. Windy.

Took the short cut to the falls and the long way back. great hike!

Love it here so much. Just saw a bald eagle fly across my car very close range on the way to this hike from Bolinas, in the lagoon. Loads of poppies are popping right now. Amazing, special place. I also found a whole, giant abalone shell at the beach but threw it back

The trail was nice and easy... meaning it was paved and went next to the Ritz.... it’s certainly not a trail it’s for golf carts. The beach is the nicest part at the end and you can let your dogs run off leash. But be prepared for people from the hotel and golf course looking at you oddly as you hike past.

Full moon hike FTW! Planned it so we’d catch sunset from the top, but the real highlight was moonrise! Forget the crowds during the day, this is a great one at night, but FYI, Stanford Ave curfew is 8pm, so if you plan on staying longer then use the Ohlone College entrance which is open until 10pm.

take the short cut to the falls. It's well worth it

nice area for an easy walk, enjoy the scenery and ocean breeze

One of the best hike in the bay and the reward in the end of your hike is spectacular!

I been here a 100 times and I love it. Such a great workout. My dogs can't make it I usually carry them in my backpack. If you go really early you get to hang out with the cows. :)

Well worth it. The way down to the falls, at the rocky area is a bit intense, as there are alot of loose small rocks and pebbles that can easily cause a slip, but there is a rope that helps. There is other ways to get down to the falls via different hiking route and walking on the beach to the falls. Plenty of shaded areas, if you start at Palomarin, you will get great views of the lake, ocean, and waterfall at the end.

Very fun! But to get to the falls, follow he mysterious rock arrow into bushes on the pathway.

Good solid hike, made it all the way to the point! Definitely with the hike, a bit windy and definitely no cover from the sun... at the end there is a bit of sand to trudge through so be ready for that... not too busy went on a weekday, will definitely do it again

The hike itself was beautiful. it had it all, there was forest, greenery, great views, a waterfall, and bit of rock climbing.

This is a great hike and beautiful views

Very hard trail in terms of elevation gain but totally worth it. Only problem is it is too open but great vistas from the top.

Nice view. Need lot of leg work and zeal to accomplish this trail.
