HikingGreat!

The Horsetrail was a little strenuous on the hike at times. The falls were well worth it. The trailhead is hard to identify. Easiest if you park beside the bridge and walk back to the road you came from and the path will be on the right.

Absolutely beautiful. Two ways you can see it. You can drive to it or you can hike Fuzzybutt Falls on the horsetrail and veer to the right on the path to see the beautiful six finger falls.

HikingGreat!

The trail itself was not too bad. Definitely would consider it moderate. Get off the path to the Spurs and see all the little falls. Once we stopped at Glory Hole falls we kept going to see the amazing humongous rock formations. They were out of those world. The hike back took longer since a lot of it is uphill on the way back. Perfect afternoon. Lots of parking. The weather was wonderful as well

HikingGreat!

Visiting the Rock house cave was great, but others have provided that review. I want to go on record as encouraging people to find the Boy Scout trail (There’s a marking you will see on the way back up the hill for this trail), heading away from the Davies bridge, and take it along the ridge line. Within approximately a quarter of a mile you will be treated to an exceptional view of cliffs and the valley. That was, in fact, my favorite view of the entire weekend I spent hiking in this park.

Great trail and I think moderate is the correct rating, even though it's a little easier than the blue loop. I prefer to ride it on days that it hasn't rained for 48 hours as it can get slick with the spots that seep. Tip, everyone I know rides it clockwise.

HikingGreat!

Very pretty view at the top! It is only about a mile to the top and then you can turn around and head back down instead of doing 3 miles total. The point is easy access to get to to take pictures and very dog friendly. A couple of switchbacks in the beginning but nothing too bad. We waited until about mid April to go so the colors would be on the trees. Lots of rocks on the trail so watch your step.

HikingGreat!

Trail was a nice little hike. There was a cool cave/icebox to explore. There was actually two waterfalls when you get to the area. Waterfall is smaller but still very pretty. we did it with our dog and he enjoyed as well.

The trail itself is not much until you get relatively close to the falls, but then so worth it. Very unique and one of my favorites so far.

Trail map is posted at trailhead and the trail itself is marked well. I detoured for the cemetery loop and again for the crack in the rock before completing the homestead loop. Very fun and diverse trail.

Gorgeous hike with amazing views. My favorite hike in the state! Note - Road to trailhead (~6 miles) was partially under maintenance when I visited last weekend, but signage indicated full road closures this week.

Giving it four stars because I have never been there (including today) when there is much water coming over the falls. As such, the payoff for the work of the trail is not spectacular. Not much to see on the way down. If there was water flow would give five stars as the drop is neat.

HikingClosed

Trail road is completely closed. While other comments have alluded to construction on the paved road, as of today the dirt road into the trailhead was also closed. Ranger at the road barricade said it will reopen after some road maintenance. Posting so you know to go somewhere else if planning to go in the near future.

really nice hike! not as treacherous as i expected based on some reviews. not well marked in a few key spots so i definitely recommend downloading the map- still was a bit confusing at times even with a map.

Note the trailhead is the other side of road from parking. There was a big drop off at parking (pickups can make it), but we parked at side of road. The beginning of the trail is steep and not well marked. We are seniors, and this trail was a little more challenging than we expected. We absolutely needed our walking sticks. The waterfall at the end was not really worth the effort although the area below the falls was quite stunning. Maybe if we had been younger and able to scramble around the rocks below we would have enjoyed more. We did make our way to the bottom (extremely difficult, sometimes sliding), but the best view of the falls we got was from above.

Love this trail. Park your car as soon as you pull in. Walk down to the pile of rocks (pictured). This will take you to an amazing waterfall and swim hole. Cross this and continue the loop. It’s beautiful and a little more rustic than the groomed park trails
