It takes a while to get to starting point (you have to drive 3 miles on a really bumpy dirt road), after you park your car, the journey begins...It took us about an hour to get up to the pretty lake and you get very nice views in your way up. You’ll see a lot of doggies along the trail; it is shady at the beginning and then is very exposed to sunshine, make sure you apply sunscreen and bring enough water. Well worth doing it!!!

Great hike! Took my 12 year old and was very glad my 4 year old wasn’t with me. Is such a great hike along the river up to the waterfall. Some tough incline spots, but very well worth it!!

The hike offers some breathtaking views. Sundial peak which towers above the lake is a great scene. In the second lake there was a moose resting in the water by a waterfall. It was incredible!

A more beautiful hike than White Pine, but the lake itself, while still gorgeous, isn't as beautiful or blue as White Pine in my opinion. Great hike that can be done in a reasonable amount of time.

Great hike!

Awesome hike! Amazing views at Lake Blanche!

Great recon hike for Pfeifferhorn in a few weeks.

Great hike. 7 Lakes. Started at Silver lake , Solitude, up and over to Twin Lakes, over to Lake Mary, Martha, Cathrine, and Dog Lake. Caught the tail end of the flowers.

We arrived at the hot springs by 8 am Friday morning and only two other cars in parking lot. Very few people came and went before 10 am. It was getting crowded after 10 so we left. We enjoyed this fairly easy hike and loved the hot springs. The most enjoyable hot springs I've ever been to. Don't pass this hike up. Follow advice to arrive early, be respectful of others enjoying the pools, please take out your own trash, watch out for rattlesnakes and other wildlife, most importantly take your time and enjoy this wonderful place.

Good trail with lots of scenery, beautiful views at the top, but it is a hard climb if you're not used to the altitude. Don't stop at the first lake. Check out the other two as well. We saw a moose at the second lake. He stayed on his side and we kept to our side and all were happy.

Beautiful hike in and fun hot springs. Avoid on the weekends as it’s super packed

So gorgeous! So many beautiful medicinal herbs to nibble on the way up. Amazing views!

I will never do this hike again. Both times there were so many bugs, and gnats you can't keep off. We were bleeding all over from them. The views, volcanic arc rocks left behind and cap carbonates are something to experience, but only once.

The valleys and wildflowers are spectacular in spring. The uphill was in sections so not too much to take on.

Amazing! The lake is just Marvelous, totally worth every second hiking there. A must go place. Please do not leave any trash. Get a refreshing cold water on top

This is only the 4th hike I’ve ever done. I consider myself an athletic person but this hike was rough. It is all uphill with very few spots to take a comfortable break. I hiked around the third lake and back down. Took me about 1:40 to get the the first lake from the parking lot. I spent about one hour walking around the lakes, and it took me about 1:30 to descend. I brought a camelbak, a Gatorade, and a life water bottle and I barely had enough water for the July weather. I think what really made the hike special was the wildlife. I was lucky enough to see a moose at the third lake.

Beautiful hike. I went on my own in the morning. I saw a few people on the trail, it was a Tuesday morning. Coming up I came upon people trail running down. Go in the morning because the first part of the trail is completely exposed.

Don't let the elevation gain fool you. Although it is only a 636 ft gain, you at least double it with the constant up and down. Great hike as well as beautiful drive to the trail head. We must have been between groups because we passed many on their way out and were the only ones at the spring for about 10 min. before several others arrived. Temperature of the water out of the falls portion was 115-120 per another hiker that brought a thermometer. Too hot to stay in it for mid day, but would be perfect for early morning or late evening.

One of the coolest trails I’ve been on! Especially fun because the trail changes scenery a lot, from thick forest to rocky out-in-the-open stretches to canopies of aspen trees. *Especially* especially fun because you can camp up there, if you have the willpower to haul your gear all the way up this hike.

Definitely be sure to walk the trail around all three lakes, they’re gorgeous. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a moose. I was fortunate enough to see one on my first try!

It is also one of the harder hikes I’ve done. Bring tons of water and prepare for some sore legs. It is comparable in difficulty to the Mt. Olympus trail, in my experience.

Beautiful trail. Fairly high traffic but still a great hike. Strenuous enough but manageable. Wildflowers everywhere. There was a big bull moose about 30 yds from the trail. Had a blast!

I wasn’t expecting this as long it was. I was hoping to pick my stuff up at like 11 and was surprised about the chill environment I was in until finished the rest of my weed

Amazing hike! Beautiful scenery. Well worth the hike.

Awesome hike! Really not that hard of a hike we ran into a group with little kids that made it up there! So it’s possible! Only took us 2 and a half hours to get to the upper lake lake.

Fun hike. Wildflowers were still in full bloom. Intermittent shade. We saw 3 bull moose. They were right on the trail but we were able go around them.

Good workout w/ rewarding view @ the end.

Perfect morning or evening hike! I would highly recommend avoiding during the heat, as only the first 0.5 Miles are shaded.
Gorgeous views of the salt lake valley and Mount Olympus.

This was a great hike! I have done lower falls about 25 times with my kids, but never without them. I finally had a chance without kids to do this. We started on the trailhead around 7:25 ish, and finished at 10pm. It was 1.97 Miles to the waterfall, and ended up being a little less than 4 Miles total. The 3.4 Miles is deceiving, and once you hit 1.7 Miles the rest of the way to the waterfall is difficult and the path isn’t clear. It got dark before we got out of the canyon and n d d the help of a flashlight to see the rocks and path.

If you haven’t done it, do it! The waterfall is stunning and worth it. This hike is equivalent to waterfall canyon trail in my opinion. My kids (4 & 1) did waterfall canyon last year and it took 6 hours, I don’t think I will take them on this hike for another year.
