Nice with the family and dogs.

This is a lovely, whimsical walk through hazelnut orchards. It is flat and easy, with lots of Stellar jays and a few chipmunks too.

The trail itself is beautiful, short and steep enough to be considered a workout. The view at the top is beautiful, even on a partly cloudy day. It is pretty hard to get to the trailhead, convoluted in the end and a total lack of markers. If you don’t use your trip odometer in the truck or car, I doubt you will find it. The road was rough and you really needed AWD for the last couple miles. Beautiful view!

WATCH OUT FOR THIEVES! Had my car window broken and backpack stolen out of my car. Bag was empty but they took it anyways. Hide anything that could be misconstrued as valuable when driving around Eugene.

Trail was nice but lacked good viewpoints.

amazingly beautiful place

dirt bikers on the trail.

It was a nice, shady hike along a picturesque stream. Nothing to write home about. I was there when the firearms course nearby was closed due to fire danger, which made it lovely and quiet.

beautiful trail through old growth forest with an amazing view at the summit.

I didn’t actually do this complete shorter trail, but the views at the summit are amazing! One of the best hike views I’ve seen. There is a longer trail you can do but I do not recommend it unless you’re with someone who has done it before. It is not marked at all until one point and it is extremely easy to miss that sign! We missed it and ended up hiking 5+ extra miles that day. I’d stick to this shorter one and it is absolutely worth the incline!

Very pretty and barely anyone there. Lots of spiders on he trails though so make sure to bring a stick to wave in front of you as you walk.

Nice easy walk. Pleasant to walk among the filbert trees in the heat of the day.

We parked in the lot on the South side of 58 (by the bathroom) and had to ford Salt Creek to get to the nicer hot springs, one of which was dug out to about two feet deep and perfect for a soak. There were also deeper pools along the river. Fording the creek was a fun adventure, but one of our group had trouble with it (it was about knee deep and somewhat swift), so we walked back along the trail and then the highway. If you don't want to cross the creek, turn down Shady Gap Road, turn right at both splits, and park at the bend to hike the mile to the springs. The hike to the springs was through beautiful primeval looking forest, with huge ferns and lots of moss and wildflowers. We went on a Monday about noon, and there were only two other people there. Also, fair warning that clothing is optional.

5 stars for the view at the top! I didn’t actually hike all of the 2.8 miles track as we opted for the longer 7+ miles hike. I don’t recommend the longer one unless you’re with somebody who’s done it before. The trailhead is not marked and there was a sign along the way that was almost impossible to see on your way up and we ended up hiking 5+ miles in the wrong direction. But the actual Mount June summit is absolutely gorgeous!

Really well maintained trail! Nice drive up - follow directions carefully and set your odometer to find the last access road 1721. (small triangle of road on the left when approaching) Some light hail, cloudy day so no view for us, but still worth it! Great exercise - suggest poles and/or walking stick because this trail is s t e e p!

We had a some rain, hail, snow, and splash of sunshine. A nice short adventure in the mountains for my birthday

I walked this trail starting on Willamette Street, it is a shorter hike with small inclines both directions. Majority of trail is covered and dry. If you walk the direction I did look to the right about 1/2 way and you can view the city. 2 small side trails on the left lead to the road, nothing else. In my opinion this is the more challenging way if you go out and back.

Markings are a little in clear.

Very nice. Calm, quiet, peaceful.

Great trails and a great park too.

Me and three lovely ladies went to McCready Hot Springs on 1/23/18. We witnessed a man ‘spanking his monkey’ across the river. I yelled at him ‘put that shit away!’ A minute later, we heard him shoot a gun from that side of the river. We didn’t feel comfortable enough to stay so we got our things and made our way back to the car. On my driver side window was this sticky note... waiting for us. He wrote us a note to let us know how much he liked watching us in the water while he “Jacked off so fucking hard”. When we called the police to tell them about the creeper, they told us there wasn’t enough to send a cop out to investigate. Don’t send your teenagers out there! Don’t let girls go alone. Someone is going to end up hurt, or assaulted. There’s no cell coverage there and you can bet he knows it.

There is a small hot springs at the day use area which smelled awful! But there’s another hot springs across the river - took a little bit of patience to find how to get to the trail that takes you to it. It has a larger hot springs and a few small ones along the river. Beautiful scenery while soaking!

Gorgeous trails, unfortunately very close to OHV trail system so some noise pollution but otherwise gorgeous.

We enjoyed this hike very much. Excellent views. Steep so there are many opportunities to stop and enjoy your surroundings on the way up while catching your breath. We hiked up at dusk and came out with headlamps after a beautiful sunset.
