A challenging hike, lots of incline, make sure to check the weather before you go because canmore can get really hot, also bring more than enough water. Beautiful view at the end, make sure you go right up to the peak for the best experience

Easier Hike! Takes about 30-40 minutes to hike up and about 25 minutes down! Lakes at the top worth it !

it was definitely worth it going all the way to the top! we went sunday afternoon wasn't too busy. i am still feeling sore two days after we did the hike. i would recommend wearing the proper shoes and even bringing hiking poles if you have them! took us 4 hours to go to the top and back down (took less time going down then up haha)

Went up there yesterday with my husband and our two Shiba Inu! Started at Lake Louise and followed the trail past mirror lake, to little beehive then to lake Agnes, big beehive and down. Narrow switchbacks to get up to big beehive but didn’t need to use hiking poles just had good hiking shoes on. No snow present on the trails. Loved this hike! Make sure to go early to avoid the crowds.

Amazing view. Well worth the time. Not to difficult

Hiked this trail 2018 July 16 with my wife, our 12 year old and our Labrador. Sunny and hot day. The trail was in excellent shape and well maintained. It was a Monday and we saw a total of 8 other people the entire day. The trail is a long steady climb through the forest which some previous posters found "boring" but I certainly enjoyed the quiet solitude of the woods. There are a few glimpses of mountains along the way up. Be sure to take the extra 15 minutes or so to see Silverton Falls along the way. As you get closer to Tower Lake the forest opens up with lots of wildflowers and small Meadows and the views of Castle Mountain and Helena Peak are impressive. Take a break at Tower Lake because you'll probably need it. The final push up to Rockbound from Tower is quite steep, probably close to a 1 in 3 gain. It's not a very long section however and you are soon rewarded with a spectacular view of Rockbound Lake and its surrounding mountains. There is also a very interesting boulder field with some peculiar rock formations to explore. The boulder field seemed to attract a lot of mosquitos and horseflies so we ate lunch on a large flat rock a bit more to the east along the shoreline. It took us 3 hours up and 2 and a half back down at a moderate pace stopping a few times each way. Enjoy the hike!

Great for if you’re out with the family, any age can do this walk. If you’re feeling ambitious then you can climb quite a ways up behind the falls too!

Such a great hike! At an incline pretty much the entire hike, but well worth it at the top and at various points to see Lake Louise and Mirror Lake. We were planning on getting here pretty early, but ended up running late. As expected there were tons of people on the trail and at the tea house. I also did not realize the tea house is sit down with table service, which made waiting for a table much longer. Still worth the views. I made it to the top in about 40 minutes.

This was a great hike that my family and I took while staying in Canmore. We took the harder trail up and the easier trail down. It started raining about 15 minutes after we started, but it was still beautiful and worth the hike to the top. Glad we took the harder trail first in the rain as the steps to the top were easier to climb up when slippery.

Not really a hike. Nice place for a little stroll with the kids if you have any I guess. Busy if you come around noon and on weekends. **Bring the big spray!** Beautiful waterfall.

Did this today starting from lake agnes trail at lake louise. At the junction of big beehive, turn right where a log blocks the path. Follow the trail all the way up and a short scramble few meters from the junction (almost got lost). Make sure you wear good hiking boots, gloves or poles for support as you scramble going up to the summit. The 70 degree steep scree was worth it once you reached the top! I think this trail is way better than taking the plain of six glaciers. Arrive early at the park (7-8am) coz it gets full easily. And make sure you get a pass and dont park infront of a sign ‘No Parking from 11pm-8am’. We’re blessed they gave us a friendly reminder ticket for doing so...a must hike! Awesome views along the trail!

Did this with my 3 and 5 year old, who are taller than most. They loved it- it was just challenging enough for them to make it feel like an “adventure.” A beautiful hike for all ages. There’s an extra bit of the trail at the end that leads up to the top of the cliff. This was too much for the kids but easy for adults. Worth the view!

Nice little trail. Very busy by the water on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Love light and respect

Guys, it is an awesome trail but some scramble at the end with loose rocks. Coming down the same way, a little tough from the peak for the first 15-20 mins or so. I did the hike in 2 hours and 10 mins up and down, but then I was alone so just kept climbing and literally ran down. Amazing views from the top. Gives a satisfaction of reaching a summit.

Amazing went before 8am. The only one on the trails. Definitely go up the left side of the water fall to see more water falls. One of my favourite hikes.

Beautiful view along the way to it. From lake Louise and lake mirror and further up to Agnes. Three steps to explore further and further. Amazing!

Fun casual hike with the kids. Falls are great, as you can get to them, beside and behind them.

Nice and easy hike

Leg burner with amazing views. At the very top it’s a bit of a scramble on loose rock. Noticed all levels of hikers on the trail. For people that don’t hike much, it’s a challenging but rewarding trail. I’ll do it again once my legs have forgotten ;)

Trip on Jul. 14. A perfect day for hiking.

mama black bear with cubs on the trail. Unable to complete as she kept coming back and wouldnt get off the trail.

Stunning hike - not to steep, and the ground is very easy to walk on! If you want more of a challenge, continue on to the Big Bee Hive!

Highly recommended hike, leg burning hike for sure, hard on the lungs going up, hard on the legs/knees going down, very steep all the way up, but worth the view at the top, please make sure you have enough water to last you a total of 4 hours, i find that going down was much easier for me so only took us 1.5 hours going down compare to going up took us 2.5...this is a difficult hike for a beginner like me, make sure you are with someone who will push you all the way...wear hiking shoes and use trekking poles, it’s a big help....and oh yeah bring snacks:) will give you energy going down...hope you will have fun just like me who almost gave up after 30 minutes, but nonetheless #IMADEIT so #WORTHIT, oh and go there early so it’s not busy, we went up around 9:30 am less busy but when we came down around 12:30 lots of people are going up....you have to wait for people to pass through as the trail is very steep....

Amazing hiking. Recommended
