2017 fall Map

Beautiful waterfalls and lots of pinecones. I'd definitely go back.

The waterfall was stunning. We parked on the Mass side but also chose to go along the NY side and back. It was a lovely hike!!

Never go here without my dog -
always a great day outdoors.

Besides for the giant rain made pond, and not having GPS, which was totally fine, we decided to go for it! We were soaked, feet wet and muddy, but the falls are worth it! They were thunderous and spectacular!

Besides for the fact that there is a rolling river between the trail head and the trail, this hike is incredible. Pictures do not do the falls justice. It’s something you have to see with your eyes. It’s a must do hike!

Wow, what amazing day. It’s a short hike down on the MA side. We even did it in about a half of inch of snow. Be sure to wear warm socks or bring extras, very wet. But stunning falls. I will be back!

We tried to start this hike from the southern parking lot in Connecticut, but there had been a lot of rain and the trail was flooded just past the parking lot. Not wanting to have wet shoes for the rest of the day. We drove around to the norther parking lot off Campbell Falls Rd. We started our hike form the parking lot just above the Falls. The hike was very short but steep. The frozen ground and Ice made it challenging especially for my 77 year old father. The view from the bottom of the Falls was very impressive, we also followed a side trail up the dirt road and bridge directly above the falls.

NY parking provides an easy family friendly hike to the falls. MA parking gives a short stint of challenging terrain down to the falls, a fun little burst of the hikers high!!

There is no parking at the trail head. Park at the YMCA in North Adams and there are signs leading to the trail head. Trail is beautiful. With the snow melting the water was very high and some areas of the trail was under water and a little washed out. Worth a visit!! Beautiful!!

This hike was beautiful! You walk along a brook most of the path. I took my daughter and grandson here this past weekend and we had a great day....until my grandson and I slipped on a rock crossing the brook and we fell in. I thought it was funny and laughed the whole way back to my car. He didn’t find it so amusing (he is 7 years old). So, with that said, we only made it about 1.5 miles in and had to turn back. I’m looking forward to going back real soon though.

Short but oh so sweet

Enjoyed it a lot!

Come here all the time and probably always will. Awesome spot

Must see for Massachusetts

One of my favorite spots!

Had a nice time there in the snow. Easy, enjoyable little hike w/ some cool stone features, and close ups of the waterfalls.

Tons of fun things to explore. I will definitely go back.

Not marked well. Lots of hills and rocks. Not as easy as everyone says.

I was going to praise the trail for its beauty, but when I was almost finished with the loop, the trail came abruptly to an end and I had to turn around and hike the whole way back at the end of the day when it was getting dark and I was out of energy. Plus the second half of the loop is not marked at all. The parts that are marked are not all on this map and I had to constantly refer to this app to figure out where I was. That didn’t help a lot and almost got me lost!

Falls are nice.

Pretty area. A bit of a shorter hike but nice little falls

Great, beautiful, peaceful trail. I just wish there was a better place to park closer to the trail head; its somewhat dangerous to walk around that curvy road, especially if you have a dog with you trying to wander in the road (we had to put ours in a backpack we got to the head) but we also went in winter and there was some snow that made the road even narrower. Either way we will definitely be back, the brook is just too gorgeous to pass up!

Beautiful trail, was very icy, but worth the effort with little kids.

easy is relative I guess. I chose for the 'easy' rating to take my four year old. too steep and icy to make it a safe trip. looks like this will be an amazing summer hike with him though. will re-rate then.

Such a fantastic track, great in any weather and awesome for any difficulty, it becomes increasingly more difficult as you reach the falls but not enough to where beginners cannot complete it. went during the winter and during the summer and the trail is trafficked enough to see without any trouble but you kind of have the freedom to explore the woods. Would absolutely recommend, if i had any complaint parking is it, its in a suburb so it can be weird to maneuver well
