2015 Trails Map

Beautiful trail, there are lots of tree roots and the leaves can make things a little slippery so watch where you’re going.

nice hike with some good views points. Easy for everyone to complete. The boardwalk had a small flooded part so we shimminy along the handrails. Also well marked hike. When you head out to the lookout tower it is a bit more difficult to see the markers so keep a sharp eye out

Beautiful, but why is it brown and foamy?

The "moss bowl" is super cool to see especially near the fall season. It's a very nice, green trail. It's also a very nice snowshoeing trail in the winter! Fairly easy to hike. You can go from the North Duchesnay trail, connect to the South Duchesnay trail and make your way to Duchesnay Falls if you want a good couple-hour long adventure.

Definitely a must-do hike if you're in North Bay (especially in the spring)!
The bridge on the West Duchesnay trail is still out. However if you take the South Duchesnay Falls trail back towards Nipissing University and make a little side trip to the Lake Nipissing Lookout via the Lookout Trail you won't be disapointed!

Despite being promised waterfalls, but presented with a technicality (the “falls” are teeny tiny), the views are absolutely stunning. Beautiful spot at the “falls” to dip your feet in. The cliff face was my favourite part. Trail itself is easy with some steep parts but very manageable. Lots of roots so watch your step! I would also visit the big green bridge behind the discovery centre - gorgeous views.

Beautiful and peaceful trail. Came here with my dog in mid-May before the park was open for the season. Very wet trail in the spring from all the melting snow, so definitely wear boots! The falls are a great place for a picnic.

Falls were very small. Onaping falls in Sudbury is much better!

Good trail. Saw some turtles. Has a beautiful lookout. Many picnic tables to eat before the short hike.

My favourite trail of the area. Best before or after summer when there are significantly less campers around the lake. Really nice river and small spots you can go off trail exploring. Lots of great views and have seen beavers around the dam! My dog loves, but keep on leash because there's some cliffs.

It’s a really nice trail, although not really well maintained. If bringing dogs, ensure to bring plenty of water because there is only a little pond that does not look that great to drink. Bring lots of bug spray as there are horseflies and deer flies.

I sadly didn't get too far before I sprained my ankle but there was excellent scenery from what I did see. Trail wasn't marked well but planning on going back and trying again when it's cooler.

Beautiful scenery, some areas are challenging. Not a light walk. Difficult to find the markers at times. Black flies very bad in July and very hot on the rocks in the blazing sun so be prepared. I did enjoy it though and will go back at.a cooler time.

This is an easy trail that follows a along a waterfall near North Bay. There is a small parking lot off the highway. I highly suggest crossing the creek right away at the highway and hiking up the west side of the waterfall as most of the best views are from that side. The map indicates two bridge crossings however, the 2nd bridge at the very top of the trail is out. The first bridge is the only easy crossing unless you don't mind getting your feet a little wet as there are rocks to help you cross where the old bridge was located but they can be slippery.

Nice and green. Beautiful walk along boulders and stream. Bring bug spray!!

Nice trail. some tough areas for people with mobility issues.

We just hiked this trail. Parts of it are somewhat difficult. We did the loop up along the falls. Bring your bug spray. Mosquitos can be bad. Overall we liked this trail and would do it again.

Really nice trail. A few challenges for this older hiker. But with poles not a problem

love it....

my favorite walk....so close to home. amazing view

Hiked this trail in late October and the fall colours were beautiful! There weren’t too many other people that we crossed paths with and the scenery was amazing!

Super cute trail that is pretty easy to do. It can definitely be really busy, though.

This trail is not easy for everyone. The rocks a little high and steep for seniors and kids.
