Great paved trail, a bit too choppy for rollerblading, etc. and it can be crowded during Weekend afternoons. My only complaint is that it’s too narrow in places for bikes, which are allowed on the trail. Caution: there are two narrow tunnels, that require single file travel.

The trail system consists of a central shared use paved loop with several gravel trails branching off, each a little under a mile in length. The trails are well maintained gravel and have varying elevation. It is pretty heavily trafficked and does not have a remote feel. It wouldn't be the best for a scenic hike, but is great for an easy to reach walk in the woods. I use the loop as a trail running route and it is perfect for a run through the woods without worrying about breaking your ankle on a tree root. The side trails or the main loop can be repeated to selectively add distance.

Paved trail around the lake is nice, but there are places where the asphalt is cracked and some repaving is needed. They also need to repaint the yellow line on the center of the trail that the bicyclists need to keep to the right when passing people coming the other way. It is a nice walk around the lake, especially in the morning!

great for a run, boring for scenery.

decent mostly flat no real challenges but nice scenery and environment. nice free walk after park membership quite cheap to maintain the parks definitely worth it.

Beautiful scenes, birds galore. Too bad it’s so close to the highway and city noise.

This is walking trail. Too bad its asphalt. I wore a hole in my vibram soles. Weekend mornings are crowded with packs of runners. And unfortunately, bikes are allowed which make it hazardous for everyone. Combined with the Gorge trail I get about 3.5 miles. I come here a lot because it's the longest trail closest to my home.

great hard surface trail for the novice hiker. my five year old nephew did the entire 2.6 mile and loved going on an adventure.

Love Hueston Woods; went here as a teen several times. The Lodge is awesome and the grounds are well cared for! Nice little college town of Oxford.

My family loves this trail. Easy to get to, well maintained, and it is beautiful all year round.

Beautiful, especially if you go off the main paths.

Beautiful park for a morning walk. Venture off the beaten path to follow stepping stones across babbling brooks and discover hidden ponds with blooming waterlilies, duckweed, and cattails. Hear a chorus of frogs and watch colorful finches, rabbits galore, and even deer. Take the "high road" to get to the lily pond. If you have to ask, you're not looking closely enough.

All you could really want from an easy walk through the woods of moderate length. Great views of the lake, a creek, waterfalls and most of the walk is in the forest. Depending of whether you include the gorge path, the loop varies from about 3 to 4 miles all on a paved walking/biking path. 3 stars because even though it's a very nice walk it's no hike through the mountains.

This trail attracts a lot of adult walkers. It's also a nice location to take family pictures. But, it is not interesting enough for my kids to enjoy the walk. And no playground. They enjoy the highfield discovery garden that's also in glenwood gardens (but, separate admission required).

Enjoyed a good walk through the park today! At times it is wooded and hiking other parts of the loop are paved and more open air. My dog and I really enjoyed it! There is a charge of $3 or $5 depending on if you live in Hamilton County or not. I didn't know and was lucky enough to have some cash.

I hiked the Gorge Trail today. Fall is upon us and it was a nice hike. Here is a short video I made:

I have been to Sharon Woods numerous times and hiked all of the trails multiple times. This is my favorite park in the Great Parks of Hamilton County.

A descent trail if you are looking for a quick hike. I don't care much that it's gravel.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time walking the paved paths of this park.

It was a lot to do in one long day, but we only carried water and started early. There are plenty of places to eat or pick up snacks so do not weigh yourself down.

Loved this ride. We stopped at several of the little eateries and stores along the way. We knew from other reviewers that they were there so we did not carry anything but a water bottle.

More asphalt then trails but very well maintained. Lots of areas that are shaded. There is a shirt trail that passes the falls and follows the creek. Very peaceful. I don't quite agree with the distance they post - it's approx 6 miles on the actual trails. The other 2.2 is really the golf cart paths on the golf course.
