Great afternoon hike with the family

Definitely a workout! As for someone who isn’t in that great of a shape, it proved a little difficulty. There is some areas of incline and boy did it kick my butt. But I’m glad I decided to do this trail. Gorgeous falls, redwood trees and banana slugs! Took us about 5hrs w/a lunch break.

very hard if your out if shape!!!!!! most people on this trail are physically fit. we made it just shy to the top of the peak because were so fat

Lovely short hike!!!

Fantastic trail. Beautiful waterfalls and awesome redwood trees all along. Carry lots of water. Not for beginners though.

Awesome hike. Do the Moses Ridge out and back off the Juniper Trail (adds 0.8 miles) for some more great views.

Take the Penitencia Trail first and hook up to this trail up to Eagle Rock. There are beautiful meadows of mustard flowers carpeting the hills in Spring.

This is a stroller friendly stroll alongside a pretty shaded creek.

Great cliff side hike with periodic framed views west. A few boulder scrambles but well-maintained trail. Obnoxious gun fusillades at the Goat point on the weekend.

Just a pretty little stroll through the woods, easy and the farm is such a COOL place to take your kids, especially in the Spring. All the baby animals are out and they are so fun to watch. If you have kiddies, grab a pack and some snacks and take them here. Leave no trace, please!

Great after the recent rains, so green!

Nice hike spot with ample parking.

Awesome spot !

parking is really bad. get there early!!

Boring till u each top but great for muscle training

We did this clockwise, starting at the parking area in the back of the Juniper campground. Views are amazing as you make a full circle around the summit of Mt. Diablo. There are some rather steep sections in this loop. The Bald Ridge Trail in particular is like a roller coaster, twisting and turning and steeply climbing up and down, but there are some spectacular view points in that section. It tooks us about 4 hours with a lunch break at the summit.

Totally family friendly. My 5 and 6 year old daughters completed this hike in a little over 5.5 hours. Beautiful scenery and trails. The falls were flowing great after a week of rain. Came across a turtle, banana slugs and “troll” rocks close to the falls. Great hike

Very nice trail with diverse scenery. Great views from the rock climbing spots.

Good start to a great day

Just finished this hike today in under 4.5 hours. I enjoyed it but I do not think I will ever do this trail again or recommend it. While the falls were great, the overall trail felt repetitive.

You get to see people rock climbing its pretty cool!
Nice Hike

Its tricky so pay attention to your map/gps on alltrails app. I took the wrong route and ended up uphill and I did 16 miles roundtrip in 7 hours. I was soooooo tired I couldn’t handle it anymore the last 3 miles. Falls are gorgeous!

Also if you take the skyline trail you will see a gorgeous treehouse. Would do it again. Take lots of water/electrolytes for the boost.

Wonderful morning workout in peaceful surroundings.

Beautiful place. Loved it

Nice trail. Saw lots of birds and a beautiful rainbow!

This has become my favorite trail the blaze whether rain, hail or shine

Lovely trail with views. Feb and March seem like a great time to go to avoid the heat and rattlesnakes.
