Parts of it are closed, but it looks like it would be a nice, very short trail

Nice walk

Easy out and back trail with beautiful falls. Be advised you hike in downhill so returning will be uphill. Great for a little haunt in the woods!

Busy trail, steep, dusty. Very pretty falls. Overall nice little trail. Lots of people splashing around in the river at the base of the falls. We just happened upon this trail after the road to Multnomah Falls was closed and ended up hiking it in flip flops. It can be done, wish I had stopped to change my shoes though. Bathrooms have flush toilets!

Busy trail! We did this right after Latourell Falls. It was shorter than we expected but the waterfall was gorgeous. We climbed through the rocks into the creek and it was so pretty. Overall easy hike and family friendly. Parking was veryyyy limited so get there early.

Pretty waterfall, pretty busy. Some portions are kind of steep, dirt and rock so watch your step. Otherwise worth it

closed due to bridge reconstruction

Nice short trail, great short trail walk with kids in the afternoon

Easy hike. Tunnels are fun to explore.

Nice Trail, but can't go all the way to the falls due to down trees.

awesome trail. the only downside is the size of the parking lot

Such a fun and easy trail to do. I carried my 9 month old in a hiking baby carrier and she did great!
Bathrooms, and nice shaded trails that are well kept up.
Note, no dogs allowed.
Pulled right into parking lot and right in front of us 2 deer walking across the field and came 20 feet of our car before going down the hill!
Construction is going on off and on so check the Scouters Mountain Nature Park website for Park closers because of a new neighborhood being build right next to it.
Highly recommend for beginner hikers, people with children, and people carrying babies.
View point was beautiful (on a clear day) being able to see straight out to mount Hood!

Leave it to me to turn a half mile path into a 2 mile walk. I tried walking down every single path, but it was difficult to remember which I had already been down. Ended up walking in circles a few times. Very pretty grounds. I loved the stonework and stuff from a former time. The lady attending the gift shop was very friendly and informative.

A very easy hike but the waterfall is awesome at the end. I did this hike along with another hike since this one was so quick and easy.

Bummer. I must have missed the construction deadline. Curious, I read some articles that explain much of Scouter's Mountain will be developed into 600 homes as voted by Happy Valley City Council (against the wishes of most locals). While I won't argue either side since I'm not a Happy Valley local, I was disappointed not to be able to hike there today. I saw absolutely no way around the construction since the entire Boy Scout Lodge Road was completely blocked off and covered by huge machinery. Didn't even look like there was any angle to walk around the stuff if I parked in a neighborhood nearby. My one star doesn't reflect the park, but rather my lack of ability to go there.

Really nice! Short and sweet, just long enough to get energy out of younger kids.

Nice, quiet, easy, not highly trafficked.

its a wonderful place and the hike is a good way to get into hiking. only reason why we don't give it a 5 is because the trail to the bottom of trail up to the water fall is close. but that's it

Love this hike! It’s pretty short, but the falls at the end are beautiful. This isn’t a super easy hike for people with disabilities as it is kind of steep and there are stairs, including some steep stairs to the viewing deck. Older kids would enjoy it.

It’s ok. Very easy trail for a family hike.

Plenty of beautiful large old trees, a very green lush scenery. Great for walking your dog, getting your kids outside or just going for a walk. Not a very private trail, surrounded by a main road and housing developments. Very public. All in all, a well kept trail and easy decent outing.
