Very easy hike. We went around sunset and it was perfect conditions. A little chilly out (~32 in the shade) so the trail was pretty empty. There were a few areas that could have been marked clearer. There weren’t as many lake views as I would have hoped, but would definitely return with my pooch.

Snow is melting so it is a bit muddy in some spots. But overall a nice hike before lunch, lots of good views.

Nice hiking trail. Kid friendly and pet friendly. There was plenty of people walking and most were very friendly. will go again in the spring.

This was a cool mid day hike. Bit of a cold breeze but you are exposed to the sun for a majority of the hike which kept my fiancé and I warm. Wasn’t expecting to see so much water during the hike to the falls so I guess I have the week long spurt of rain to thank for that. The waterfall was pumping and made for some great photos! I’ll upload one here but you can check em out on my IG: ShotzByPonz Anyways it was definitely worth it but be prepared to watch where you are stepping with the amount of rocks and glass on the ground if you are bringing a pet. We will for sure be coming back after the next rain storm!

I attempted this last year and like a previous reviewer, we took a wrong turn as the correct trail was covered with brush and through a small stream. Needs better trail markers or any at all! We walked over rocks and poison ivy for quite a while before realizing and turning around.. it was too hot for my dog to try again but I hope to try this again soon!

Good trail there’s parking as you come in and also past that up the road a bit. Keep hiking up the trail and you can see it just off to the right

This is a pretty easy hike it is kid friendly as well as dog friendly! It is super pretty has soo many tall trees as well as a river flowing down! Did get a little lost trying to find the heart but eventually found it when I saw a heart drawing with an arrow drawn on the dirt pointing to the direction! It was super fun definitely going back during summer to maybe get in the water!

Was my first time coming to this trail. It’s CLOSED due to washout from the rain

I've been using AllTrails for years and I have never seen a review like Emmanuel Paraskiv's. It appears that he made poor decisions, but that doesn't mean the trail deserves one star. He also refers to himself as an "avid hiker," which I have a hard time believing.

$12.50 worth it. Beautiful waterfalls. Clean trail. Light to moderate traffic.

You need to pay $12.50 to enter.

Beautiful and easy. Busy, but worth it.

The ticket office says it’s 2 mile and 350 ft elevation. It is worth it and very pleasant. I carried my 32lb 2 year old. The waterfall is flowing with the rain.

Definately a place to check off the list & a unique site as the 2nd tallest waterfall in the NF, but go with expectations. This is NOT a hiker's hike. You will encounter grafitti, trash, sewage, loud human noises, partiers & the trail inexperienced (read: don't know trail ettiquette). While it's rated moderate for the rocks & a short hill, it's fairly easy. Kids & small dogs could make it.

Great short, family friendly hike to one of the nicer waterfalls in the front range.

We did this trail after a day of rain expecting to see some flow but there wasn't much of a waterfall. I'm guessing there has to be some significant rain for the waterfall to be flowing. Nevertheless, it was a cool short hike and nice to get out the city. The long road to get to the trail head was kind of sketch since it was a one lane with a few turnouts just in case another car is coming.

I made a quick video of our hike on youtube, hope you guys check it out! Just copy and paste the link below! Sub and follow my IG @mario.tv16

9 dollars per person for adults. Well worth it.

Amazing oasis. It is a loop. If you take the right entrance, the first half meanders by the river and every step is photo-worthy. The second half was a bit of a disappointment because the trail went quite a bit above and beyond the creek. From that vantage point you could really see what an oasis it is. If I had it to do again, I would go to the bridge and double back by the creek. That was heaven. There are a couple of steep steps and some moderate climbs., but I would agree it is an easy trail.

Decent easy/moderate trail. Rocky at some spots. Some really great views of the surrounding mountains. Lots of broken glass and graffiti at the falls itself.

Very fun and interesting trail. Really cute waterfall and something really nice to see during the winter!

Great place to hike. what some people may not know, if you hike another half mile or so, you will run into another, HUGE HEART ROCK. I will post a pic of it. you will see my daughter in a red shirt.

NOTE: Please keep in mind that the hike becomes a little more difficult, with rocks, log crossings, branches, water streams etc.

Great little hike. Better if you can park close. We parked on the street before the first gate because the lots were “full” according to the power crazed park ranger. About 1.1 miles from our car to the trail. 0.9 from trail to the waterfall. Started right past the restrooms near a bear warning sign, about 0.1 miles left of the main route. Meets up with main route after 0.2 miles. My 2 1/2 year old did the entire trip without having to be carried. He was probably the youngest kid not being carried.

Beautiful, easy to walk but thrilling enough to children. Really enjoyed.

Easy with 7+ yo kids. The Waterfall itself is not worth the hike but the views and the trail itself keeps it interesting.

It’s was great, I was really cold though. I mean it’s winter. To the guy below. I really want to see proof.

Loved this trail. Nice walk by the lake with my girl and a nice workout once you reach the hill trail.
