An experience of a lifetime although it was sometime ago! We were a group of 30 people. The hike was part of humanitarian mission to Kenya and Tanzania organized by Gulf For Good in Dubai. This route we took took us through multiple terrains and offered amazing sceneries and a variety of vegetarians, animals, and birds to see. The weather was nice yet cold especially after night but that was expected. Very rewarding once you get to Uhuru Peak at the top of the world’s tallest free-standing mountain at 19,336 feet at sunrise. Amazing!

Did the 6day hike which I don’t recommend. Summit was awful but totally worth it!

Was only able to do the lower levels of He trail, but still amazing!!

As good as it gets

Did the 7 day hike. The days for the summit attempt are not particularly difficult, just a lot of easy to moderate hiking. Summit night/day is a very tough challenge. The altitude, lack of sleep and climb itself makes it more difficult than is often described when people call Kilimanjaro a "walk-up" climb. Amazing views and definitely work it getting to the peak.

Excellent challenge.

Did the 6 day hike. It was amazing, but difficult due to lack of sleep and altitude over 15,000 feet. Worth it and will never forget or regret the experience.

Very scenic and picturesque

Amazing and don't underestimate it. Great beginner mountain for high altitude climbing. Be in the best shape of your life going in to it though. Make sure to hie a professional guide and have all necessary equipment
