Il sentiero è molto bello e difficile, belli i castelli e la vista. Penso sia poco adatto a bambini

Loop of the Grivò stream before climbing to the "Dei Zuc" castle and then to the Cucagna castle. Two castles assigned by the Patriarch Popone of Aquileia to the Auspergh Counts of Carinthia. The first one is from 1248 and the top one from 1027 was built by the same Counts who later expanded it in 1300.
They are 2 of the 10 or 11 Castles ranging from Nimis to Natisone (from Cregneu to Biaicis) that's why the Roman numeration.
You arrive and take the trail tour to the Church of San Rocco for medieval paths!

The views over Amalfi and out to the sea are worth the steps! The mills are a nice surprise as well. Go left at the first fork near Amalfi and your hike up won’t be as steep/full of stairs.

Enjoyable hike sheltered by trees. Great cafe with local produce at the end of the hike!

Lovely hike ! You have to park either in the nearby parking garage (which I would recommend), or find a spot on the road. Then, you have to walk past all the shops to where the signs(they say the hike in Italian) begin popping up for the hike. The water was flowing, and it was beautiful! Worth it !

ottima applicazione!

The trail leads through the forest and half of it leads through a canyon. Instead of going through the canyon you can also decide walk back on the road. To walk through the canyon you need to purchase a ticket and wear a hardhat. There's also an optional "train" that will take you through the canyon.
The woodland trail is decent, some place are a bit slippery/muddy, so proper shoes are recommended.
The canyon path is all flat and very easy to walk. Parking near lake Barcis can be a bit difficult as it is very busy during the weekend and summer.

Super nice hike. Definitely worth exploring!

Not possible to enter during Feb (maybe due to heavy rain past days)

Easy, nice, scenic

Beautiful, definitely recommend

No water but still enjoyable!

Great hike, quite an elevation change in the heat.

We did just the Valle delle Ferriere. It is gorgeous. Moderate hike. Took 2.5/3 hours roundtrip to go up from Amalfi, get to the end, and turn around the way we came.
