Absolutely the best hiking in my life I just was there 3 times and definitely will go in future.

Really challenging but rewarding via feretta. Lots of exposure and a few ladders. Downhill was excellent. Lots of scramble and loose gravel but that just made it fun to run through.

Moderately easy hiking trail with joy too many steep inclines. This time of year (October), all the refugios are closed for the winter, so make sure to carry your own food and water. Entrance to the park is 30 Euro and the parking lot fills fast. I started at 0730 and there were maybe 12-15 cars. Back at the parking lot 4 hours later and it was well over 100 cars.

Decent hike from town. Very wooded, muddy at times. On 200, 204,206, 210 and mountainbike 5. Several side trails. Good views at times.

Very good trail. Very flat to start, then some pitches to get the blood flowing. Lots of kids and dogs. Plenty of leaves changing down in the valleys, and bits of snow on the peaks. Incredible views, of course.

Quiet hike with some more delicate passages but the landscape on arrival is worth it. Ps we took the path 216 to return to the starting point. Warning: trail for savvy

incredible trail, every turn you will want to stop and take a photo. I went counterclockwise to start, which you'll get most of the elevation climb out of the way in the first half.

A wonderful trail. If you are afraid of heights be cautious. Two different garmins almost 8 miles round trip. There are several tricky spots with cables in the mountains. Glad we went in the morning. Some spots on the trial is only big enough for one person. Check the weather. This trail could be extremely hazardous in rain. Meaning you slip and you fall off the cliff. The only disappointed was the lake was pretty much dried up. But still some amazing views. Did this in mid October

Great trail for most skill levels. Went in mid-October and the foliage/views were gorgeous. Well marked with options to add on some trails. There’s a refuge at the end with hot food and drinks as well if that appeals to you.

July 2019. Whew, this was an uphill workout but what a sense of accomplishment, gorgeous scenery and an amazing Refugio when we reached Croda da Lago Refugio! Bring plenty of water. There were stretches that were extremely sunny so take advantage of shade breaks when you can. A little over halfway, there was an amazing spot to dip our hands and faces into mountain fresh water for a cool-down, just what we needed! We also saw donkeys walking around right here. Up until This point, the scenery is much of the same — forests with some rare lookouts, but, after this, you get some amazing Alps-like scenery and some really steep stretches where bikers need to dismount. The Refugio has a nice menu and nothing like a refreshing beer with these types of views to celebrate the hike. We brought snacks to eat by the lake — beware, the donkeys will want their share! :) Walking around the lake was a nice way to get ready for the hike back down, which felt much faster but bring poles if you want to help your knees out!

lots of variety- history, terrain, views. Plus there were heaps of options at the top for extra additions

Had a great time hiking this trail. Almost 90% uphill until you get close to the refugios and Cinque Torri and then almost all downhill on way back (not much break for knees). Great views. Definitely add on the loop around the WW1 trenches and shelter remains. Took our dog and she was fine on the trail.

The views are spectacular, the terrain is varied and it is bloody good exercise. Do the loop going to Lago di Federa first and then continue on around Croda de Lago. This will give you an horrendously long down hill return (which seems better than an horrendously long up hill start)

Great hiking through wooded area along beautiful creek with multiple small waterfalls.

Hiked this as part of a loop from Giau Pass, up to Nuvolau Refugio then back around the 433 to complete the loop. Shady, no wind, very green with lots of plants. Quite steep in parts but easily manageable.

Unforgettable views!

Simply WOW! The best views I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended! The track is not easy, but it worst it. On October it was already pretty cold and the grass was already yellow, but I can imagine how gorgeous it’s on summer. The restaurant on the top and the cable car were also closed on October.
