The best. The trail is stunning, Perfect for a trail running session. Head lamp needed becouse of long and dark tunnels. Amazing trail also for hikers and families (yes, could be quit challenging due to about 800 meters elevation gain). September and october are the Perfect months to go there, due to better wheter conditions (Air stability and less rain probability).

Portogruaro, city reality strongly influenced by Venice of the '500 so as to be the historical capital of the province east of the Piave up to the Tagliamento. Historically it has always contended in Pordenone the moral capital of the area and in the last 2 centuries it has been linked to Udine (50 km) more than to Venice (65 km on wheel and 10 on boat). Its' 500 is seen in the Renaissance palaces that adorn the main street of the city along with the Gothic palace of 1250 which today is the municipal hall.

Didn't go through the whole trail. It was late March, we started at Pai di Sotto. Walked only for a couple of miles up. The pavement was great, probably there from Roman empire times

I did this trail completely by accident April 2017 and never recorded. An annual voluntary event at Lake Garda is the 40 mile (65 KM) / 12 hour COL Darby Challenge. The COL Darby challenge started in the city of Peschiera del Garda and goes through the cities of Mattarana, Lazise, Pai, Malcesine, and ended in Torbole. The Uploaded pictures are along the city of Malcesine but the entire 40 mile route on the eastern side of Garda looks similarly amazing. In a nutshell, this trail was absolutely remarkable. During my 40 mile hike, I stopped in Malcesine to get a beer and something to eat… I wish I remembered the name of the bar because it was awesome. If you wish to do this 18 mile hike, definitely do it because it’s gorgeous. But I recommend doing the entire hike along Lake Garda… It is the best and took me less than 11 hours with several beer stops… It was pretty much a 40 mile long pub crawl! Just don’t get drunk and you should be fine!

Unique, quaint, unparalleled, most romantic city in the world. Lots of small bridges to cross. Many very narrow streets. Very crowded. Amazing place.

Incredibly remarkable hike with some of the most gorgeous views I've ever seen. I even saw some wildlife, as there was a mountain goat (or some kind a goat) above the trail. I had to stop recording halfway through because my phone was about to die and I definitely needed the flashlight in certain parts of the trail. The entire trail is well laid out. They were a couple of times I wasn't certain where to go immediately, but after looking for a couple seconds, it became obvious. There is a lot of loose rocks and uneven terrain. There were a couple of older hikers that turned around, saying that it was too much for their knees and ankles. At the turnaround point there is a great café where you can stop and relax before turning around. Nothing like having a beer at what seems like the top of the world. Definitely recommend for everyone.

We did this hike after having many friends recommend it. We got rained on but were already halfway up the trail so we went on. The trail was built in WWI and has some information at the beginning explaining what it was used for during that period and after. There are a couple places with in the tunnels where it gets really dark so you definitely want to have a flashlight or some type of light source with you. At the top there was a place where if you time it you can get food. We did not time it right, but they were kind enough to let us dry out by the fire and tie our dog up in shed so we could all be out of the rain. They way back down we opted to go down the road as it was getting dark and we wanted to see both sides. The views are stunning even with the rain it was 100% worth it.
