The Via Flaminia is an ancient Roman road that from Rome, through the Apennines, leads to Rimini on the Adriatic coast. Due to the ruggedness of the mountains it was the main option the Romans had for traveling between the south and the north. Today the same route is parallel to the SS3 state road and remains a country road. Complete itinerary: Nocera station, Bruciaporco, Ponte Parrano, Abbey of Santo Stefano di Parrano, Isola, Colle San Martino, Carbonara Alta, San Lorenzo, Busche, Antica Flaminia, Sant'Ippolito, Gualdo Tadino station. To return to the starting point it is possible to take public transport.Show more

Near the Cesi cave there is a privately owned gate because the track is not allowed. If it is not possible to complete the entire route because the gate is closed, you will have to turn left and return to the provincial road.Show more
