Did this in 2009, no AllTrails back then. Wanting to go back to Val Gardena and do more hikes there again. I love that place so much. So beautiful. Anyway I remember starting this hike from Selva (Wolkenstein). Stopped at an opened-early bakery for a quiche or something like that and took off. Seems impossibly steep at first. And it is. But the view from the Stevia Hut makes it all worthwhile. And it’s a great workout.

We went late October, in the off season when the lift was not operating. Super foggy day so that’s why we had the trail to ourselves, but we couldn’t see the iconic range around us. Beautiful regardless. Bring your trekking poles

Beautiful lake and beautiful views but so over-crowded with people taking shots for their next Instagram post. We visited later in the afternoon, so it was packed (our mistake). Easy hike. Well worth the trek around the lake.

Starting at the car park at Zander Alm, hiked up the 33 toward the Gampen Alm. Then continued up the valley to Genova Rifugio and up the the ridge for the view. Initially hiking through trees on a gravel road, then up onto grassy paths above the tree line. Steady incline, nothing very steep. Relatively easy hike with great views.

This hike has amazing views! We arrived at 7am and left around 9am on a weekday and it never became crowded. The hike around the lake is easy (wide path of crushed rock), but part of the trail includes stairs. There are some picnic tables and benches around the lake if you want to eat or take in the views. If you get there early enough, you can park in the hotel parking lot, which is the lot closest to the lake. I’ve added a pic with the parking rates.

By far one of the most enjoyable trails I ever did, almost senic the whole hike! I recommand to walk anti-clockwise, the benifit is that you have a gradual ascent and a bit steeper descent. Also this way you are on the sunny side when you finish. After you negotiated the man made bridges and are back on the open part of the mountain, i recommand to take the higher route to Theodor Christomannos point before dropping down.

Amazing trail! Gorgeous views! Pretty easy track. Can be done with kids and dogs. There is a parking and many restaurants on the start/end.

Nice hike, I would suggest to stay on the 6 to balest, the climb is steep but the view amazing. When you get to the first open field the route in-app takes you to the left, of the bench there, but keep right. When you get to seceda its like walking in the zoo, dont really recommand this hike, there are lots of other scenic hikes around.

Weg war Hundefreundlich und mit einer fantastischen Aussicht! Ab 11 Uhr kamen immer mehr Memschenmassen. Zuvor war es ruhig und wunderschön. Perfekt zum Bilder machen.

Three words Oh my God! Slight incline out only about a mile and a half to photo point. I have walked ten times the distance for far less many times. One of the most beautiful views awaits you for about 45 minutes out.

Beautiful hike with a stunning view. it's a medium to difficult hike, about 1.100 m difference in altitude but it's worth it.

Fantastic walk, make sure to have plenty of time to enjoy the views and take pictures. There are 3 bars-restaurants on the way.

Beautiful views and a lovely easy walk, worth getting there early to get the best pictures without all the people. Beware of the cows, one of them seemed a little bored and charged me and quite a few other people taking pictures and later played a game of flip the human.

Pleasant walk up to suspended bridge and waterfalls.

Moderate difficulty trail with ample rewards. Prepare for killer views :-) Very much recommended. Note: some trail markings are easy to miss, watch out!

A long walk in the woods with some nice views. Very heavily trafficked between Lake Calaita and Malga Crel. The restaurant at Malga Crel was also packed with hikers, but service was reasonably fast and prices were good. Be careful not to miss the path from Chalet Doch like we (and also a biker) did :-) That led to some off-trail adventures!
