Nice flat trail around a beautiful lake! Half of it (East side) was on gravel path and went through beautiful wooded areas, right next to the lake. Other half (west side) was mostly on the street. Would probably stay on east side. The lake itself has lots of grassy areas, picnic tables, great for family gatherings!

Quite a fun trail in really any weather conditions. Though steep it was very rewarding especially when the clouds break up and you get to enjoy the amazing view. The trail is clearly indicated almost all the way(close to the top in foggy weather the gps will come in handy). It took us 1hour 40minutes to reach the top with a steady pace and only small photo stops along the way. Heading down was 20minutes faster.

I would consider to go further than an indicated parking with a car so you don't waste the energy for plan, long and boring beginning. Road is ok for any type of car even if it is a bit sassy in the beginning. I would also advice to to to Costone occidentale or Rifuggio San Sebastiani

At first, just roads, but then bridges and small waterfalls and about 4K in it gets magical. Pretty flat along the course of the river. Followed the gran Paradiso park trail route. The all trails route is closed and has private property signs.

Had a great time hiking this trail. Almost 90% uphill until you get close to the refugios and Cinque Torri and then almost all downhill on way back (not much break for knees). Great views. Definitely add on the loop around the WW1 trenches and shelter remains. Took our dog and she was fine on the trail.

Simply WOW! The best views I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended! The track is not easy, but it worst it. On October it was already pretty cold and the grass was already yellow, but I can imagine how gorgeous it’s on summer. The restaurant on the top and the cable car were also closed on October.

Short steep with huge rewards. You can start at various places if you have a map of the local trails but the car park at Alpe del Vicerè is a good place. The first mile or so is tough with little reward... but wait for it! You will be delighted eventually with 360 degree views from the top - do both peaks they are very close to each other.

The hike was truly wonderful. The views and rock climbing incredible. As a note, There was a good 1/2 mile of asphalt trail that turned out to be a road to the refuge cinque torri. The road was not noted in other hikes, but kind of welcomed. Only had 1 car. The refuge huts are great. The wine delicious. The country is amazing.

This is a beautiful hike. Very sad about the storm taking all those beautiful trees down. You walk along a peaceful little creek and the hike is not difficult till you reach a spectacular rainbow lake

I’d recommend this trail for everyone, but there is a 1km technical sector. Also, due to a storm, there some sectors you need to off road for a while

Trail from end to end is actually 9.31 miles. Coming down the North was way worse, the trail was covered in leaves, the south side of trail was very scenic. I would do it again and avoid the north side.

Moderately difficult hike, took us about 4 hours. Took a sight detour on the way back and got onto another smaller peak, see the recording. Very nice views of the lake and mountains. Hardly any shade though, so does get very hot and sweaty in the weather we had which was around 30’ and full on sun
