Very nice trail, very varied (rocks, woods, vineyards), with some stunning view! There is a very good description here: http://www.parcocollieuganei.com/itinerari-dettaglio.php?id_iti=989

Nice flat trail around a beautiful lake! Half of it (East side) was on gravel path and went through beautiful wooded areas, right next to the lake. Other half (west side) was mostly on the street. Would probably stay on east side. The lake itself has lots of grassy areas, picnic tables, great for family gatherings!

It's hard hard if you're a beginner also get there earlier than we did (we got there at 3.30 pm) or you'll have to leave with the sour taste of not making it to the top. Totally worth it, very peaceful when we went this past Saturday, May 9th 2020. Ill do it again. Give it another try!

Amazing Via Ferrata!!! The views were out of this world spectacular. Climb up was fun and doable in tennis shoes. One of the best!

Oh yeah! This is a must do. Grab your helmet, harness, and clips for some amazing views. The cable makes its pretty safe, but it's not easy. Yet a decent climber free solo this. The hike down was more sketchy with all the loose gravel.

Great Ferrata route. Was by myself all day. I did this in late June/almost early July. Not a ton of snow on the first half but the final ascent is through a step scree/snow field from the false summit. Descent was through multiple feet/meters of snow. I definitely did not expect to see as much snow as I did so please be prepared with gaiters! Beautiful route, but make sure you are prepared for 9-10 hours round trip time - so should only be taken by those who don’t mind heights and have enough fitness.

This via ferrata is not in Friuli Venezia Giulia but in Veneto. Cortina d'Ampezzo is a town in Veneto

Breath-taking. So many beautiful views of the Dolomites. Recommend a head lamp for the longer tunnels. Would not recommend for younger children as there are many narrow trails over steep cliffs.

The best. The trail is stunning, Perfect for a trail running session. Head lamp needed becouse of long and dark tunnels. Amazing trail also for hikers and families (yes, could be quit challenging due to about 800 meters elevation gain). September and october are the Perfect months to go there, due to better wheter conditions (Air stability and less rain probability).

Hiking

Incredibly remarkable hike with some of the most gorgeous views I've ever seen. I even saw some wildlife, as there was a mountain goat (or some kind a goat) above the trail. I had to stop recording halfway through because my phone was about to die and I definitely needed the flashlight in certain parts of the trail. The entire trail is well laid out. They were a couple of times I wasn't certain where to go immediately, but after looking for a couple seconds, it became obvious. There is a lot of loose rocks and uneven terrain. There were a couple of older hikers that turned around, saying that it was too much for their knees and ankles. At the turnaround point there is a great café where you can stop and relax before turning around. Nothing like having a beer at what seems like the top of the world. Definitely recommend for everyone.

We did this hike after having many friends recommend it. We got rained on but were already halfway up the trail so we went on. The trail was built in WWI and has some information at the beginning explaining what it was used for during that period and after. There are a couple places with in the tunnels where it gets really dark so you definitely want to have a flashlight or some type of light source with you. At the top there was a place where if you time it you can get food. We did not time it right, but they were kind enough to let us dry out by the fire and tie our dog up in shed so we could all be out of the rain. They way back down we opted to go down the road as it was getting dark and we wanted to see both sides. The views are stunning even with the rain it was 100% worth it.
