nice loop. you get to see 3 typical villages and Salerno historic center. get lost into little streets in albori, climb the stairs you'll get amazing belvedere / grab a drink at bar Verdi in Salerno / lots of steps but trail is quite urban / dive into the sea at marina d'albori's beach (more steps).

Nothing interesting, really. only of You have nothing to do.

Trail was amazing. The stairs are not easy though. I would rate this more as a moderate hike due to the 780 stairs up to the cave and arch from the south side of the path. Everywhere else is gradual incline or decline. If you don’t want to do those stairs. Take the north path from the town to the arch.

unfortnately the castle was closed for restoration work so unable to take the trail up to castle. I could only walk up to the church of San Giacomo. First part of trail is easy enough but a bit of an uphill climb for about 25 to 50 meters.

easy loop along great Mediterranean forest / scrubland out to the arch and including a cute cave. all paved with many stairs, otherwise very easy and well traveled. the main loop can be completed easily in an hour clockwise.

Easy trail for all ages with beautiful views.

Beautiful hike. All concrete path and steps. Not hard but definitely an aerobic workout on those steps. I think 770 steps. The Arc is breathtaking as are all the views along the way.

Easy trail with beautiful scenery. Went in winter and certain parts of the trail covered in ice, but overall a great way to spend a few hours.

I just arrived in Corniglia & I dragged my ~30-lb. suitcase up the 381 steps of the Scalinata Lardarina. One heck of an introduction to Cinque Terre!

Portogruaro, city reality strongly influenced by Venice of the '500 so as to be the historical capital of the province east of the Piave up to the Tagliamento. Historically it has always contended in Pordenone the moral capital of the area and in the last 2 centuries it has been linked to Udine (50 km) more than to Venice (65 km on wheel and 10 on boat). Its' 500 is seen in the Renaissance palaces that adorn the main street of the city along with the Gothic palace of 1250 which today is the municipal hall.

Se il tracciato si compie durante una giornata solegggiata si trovano parecchie gelaterie lungo il percorso; se invece piove ci si consola con calici in diverse enoteche selezionatissime.

This is a paved path along the historic wall around Lucca. There are many opportunities to sit on benches or under large growth trees. While I was visiting there was a festival and visiting art display in addition to the shops that are always there. There are many ramps where you can venture into town.

Did this a few years ago! So worth it. Late September and early October are the best times to visit Capri. We took a day trip here from Sorrento on a ferry, which was fantastic. Walking Capri is like walking in a dream. The beautiful views will leave you speechless as you walk up the city and charming, very tiny, streets. Bella!

Great walking around Rome, monuments, churches, castles, Vatican City, Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and many many places. Great drinking water from fountains all over town, amazing ruin of Roman Aqueduct at Lucio Sestio, metro line A.

Treat yourself to an overnight stay (or two) in Capri, like I did. My mid-October visit helped reduce crowds, but seeing the island after most tourists leave gives you a more intimate experience with this gem. Capri is riddled with paths to every corner -- explore them! -- you'll find yourself strolling through narrow alleyways of gorgeous gated homes, winding through quiet forests, and landing at the crashing sea with its intricate rock formations. Plus, the paths are dotted with tiny bistros for an unforgettable espresso, wine, or meal break (I had the best clam linguini of my life along this trek!). This path is more walk than hike, but its length and inclines still provide a good workout. Go, enjoy the more remote Capri, away from the typical tourist hangouts!
