Beautiful views at the lakes. I didn't expect so many people, but you can drive all the way to the lakes.

very nice and easy path. Partial smooth trail, partial smooth cobble. may be excessively muddy after a heavy run (just guessing) but great overal. Also, beware that Google maps will take you down a very sketchy hill side dirt road if you are coming from licola/lago patria. if it tells you to turn off at a sketchy little street past an overpass, just keep going straight and let it reroute you through the tunnel. it may take a few more minutes, but I wasnt sure my polo was gonna make it.

Nice, simple flat 1.8 mile walk around a lake. Most of the surface is large cobblestone. There are some Roman ruins there. Unfortunately, I don’t know the history. We went midweek and passed very few people waking around the lake. . It’s also offseason. On the weekends even in offseason the entire area around here is full of people. There are a couple of bars, restaurants, and small sports club, and even a dog park surrounding the lake.

Interesting closed circuit for naturalists, botanists, horticulturists, geographers and geologists. In fact there are elements of strong consideration that concern the relative specialties of which above. In particular, the two lacualities are the gift of old intramorphic formations of a chatter of 15,000 years ago and with two witnesses of excellence such as the Masso Giulio Andrea Pirona (botanist and geologist) and Giovanni Marinelli who are on the northern slope of the moraine hump between the two lakes: I two boulders are erratic and this is witnessed by the southern wall of the Pirona completely abraded by the push of ice (30,000 mc 'the largest erratic boulder in the Alps) and the north wall of the Marinelli with sharp edges not abraded by rolling or leaps. The trails are widely reported and can be dangerous those in the vicinity of the lakes in the intermediate seasons and also dangerous in the summer on wet or rainy days due to the excess of superficial roots strongly abraded by visitors. The suggested section starts from a convenient parking area, avoiding the very heavy traffic and running out of the neighboring lakes. In etate it is also possible to find 1000-2000 people per day.
