This excursion starts from the Passo dello Zovallo border between Parma and Piacenza. Leave the car and go into the beech forest, until you reach the foot of the path to the top of Mount Ragola 1711 mt. The climb to Ragola from the rocky part is for experts, even if it has no significant difficulties except the stony bottom and the difference in height. Once you reach the top, walk along the plain to the cross, then descend from the north-east to the large lawn and the Ragola Refuge. The gravel road that leads to Lake Bino starts from the refuge.
