Mountain biking

Easy for all seasons. Starts in Lignano main roundabout. Many bikes trails and some road biking. Cross Tagliamento river on a bridge then straight to Bibione. Back crossing Bibione lighthouse area, dunes and a sand on trail. Back to Lignano and then all the way to the Lignano lighthouse through Riviera, Pineta and Sabbiadoro.

This is a ROUGH hike. The leaves made it slick but the view was SO worth it!!! Highly recommend hiking sticks and some good hiking shoes!

I underestimated this hike, literally uphill the entire way up and very steep on way down. Absolutely beautiful the whole way though, the views on way up are gorgeous and at the top it is breathtaking with all of the surrounding mountains. Worth the pain, but if you aren’t a constant hiker set aside enough time to get to top....and just keep going, ‘it’s only a few more minutes’!

This was a great dog friendly trail! I wouldn’t recommend my recording as I didn’t really stick to the trail and went through some water to get across. Although it was fun, I’d stick to the trail if you don’t want to get wet! 3 stars because there were some trees coving the trail that we had to go through !

beautiful trail, the three spots visited offer amazing views of the lake. from the third spot to molassa pay extra attention, recommended only to experienced hikers and not in the winter (ice!)

Beautiful views at the lakes. I didn't expect so many people, but you can drive all the way to the lakes.

Great little trail. Lots of loose rocks. Small section that goes through a sheep rancher's property. Great view of the surrounding mountains at the top, with the option to continue hiking along a couple ridges if desired.

Yesterday I went to complete this hike, sadly the trail was out so I improvised and made a day of it anyway. This hike was one of the most beautiful places I have seen. I parked at the far end of town and made my way around the lake via the city. Once I made it around to the other side I decided to take the trail out to Celena Gorge and further on at Del Dint. I would say the trails are moderately hard and you need to have good shoes with plenty of grip.

shortly into the trail is a steep incline, that sets the tone. the trail is a continuous incline, with some areas very narrow, slippery, and several trees downed. the return trip is even trickier as the loose leaves become slick and it's a slippery slope. I only made it halfway up in 2.5 hours, and back down in 1.5, but I am recovering from surgery and not at full capability. The trail is mainly wooded and there aren't many views until you get higher. trekking poles and good grips (possibly crampons) recommended.

Just a trail for training in a uncertain weather day. Fun to cross the Roggia di Palma ( artificial run) on a temporary bridge made with bullast-slippers.

Great mix of trail and paths that run through the forest and also go through parts of town. The trail also crosses a natural running water creek. Not terribly difficult (did it with a baby on my back) but not too easy either. A little overgrown in some areas so make sure to wear long pants.
