Beautiful scenic trail, short difficult climbs but well worth the effort. Have a beer at the Rifugios to take in the views. Many short offshoot trails to explore. 30€/vehicle for toll road to parking lot or 8€/person for the bus, bus was big and looked to be able to transport everyone waiting. 0,20€ for bathroom at Rifugio. Coming from years of living in the flatlands of Texas and not training for hiking at all prior to this trip, I found this trail to be easy to moderate, definitely not difficult with a decent base level of fitness (friend did this without problems while carrying a 15 kilo child on his back).

One of my favorites in the Dolomites!

The trail leads through the forest and half of it leads through a canyon. Instead of going through the canyon you can also decide walk back on the road. To walk through the canyon you need to purchase a ticket and wear a hardhat. There's also an optional "train" that will take you through the canyon.
The woodland trail is decent, some place are a bit slippery/muddy, so proper shoes are recommended.
The canyon path is all flat and very easy to walk. Parking near lake Barcis can be a bit difficult as it is very busy during the weekend and summer.

Pick any trail in this region. You will not be disappointed!

In a hot day of summer just to walk under fresh conopy for almost 8 km. Track easy also for car, no difficulties.

Just a trail for training in a uncertain weather day.
Fun to cross the Roggia di Palma ( artificial run) on a temporary bridge made with bullast-slippers.

a beautiful easy hike for 7 of us. we turned off near the end and scrambled up the dry glacier / drainage to where the ice ended up at the rock. huge fun and simply beautiful to look at. even better - the ristorante at the Duran Pass right on the highway has hot food and cold beer. gotta love it!

Route well known both for its proximity to the city and because it is not very demanding. It is typical itinerary for the first exit of the season.

Great mix of trail and paths that run through the forest and also go through parts of town. The trail also crosses a natural running water creek. Not terribly difficult (did it with a baby on my back) but not too easy either. A little overgrown in some areas so make sure to wear long pants.

Lovely walk through vineyards and olive groves. Watch carefully for the trail marks. Easy to miss at some junctions. Bring your gps.

Vvery nice walk through the Slovene part of Istria. The trail goes through forest, Vineyards, Olive tree plants and old villages. It takes around 4 hours total. It can be pretty hot in high summer!

This was a great hike. Great coffee at the Rifugio Padon. We hiked up to the very top lookout and had some great views. I recommend going up to the top. Took the cable car up to the top instead of hiking all the way up to the top from Arabba. There were goats and cattle being herded in the hill side. Great view of Marmalade Mountain and the town below.

Very nice and simple hike / walk. I took the cable car to the top from Arabba. The trail starts just off to the left and traverses the side of the mountain to the west where the Viel dal Pan Rifugio is located. It was a nice sunny clear day great view of Marmalade Mountain.
