Très belle randonnée ! Effectivement attention aux voitures aux tronçons sur route (assez courts), et à la poussière sur le chemin. Les vues sur la campagne Toscane et le village de San Giminiano sont dignes de cartes postales ! Allez-y !

I enjoyed defending these walls from the tyrannies of the local powers including Florence and Pisa. I especially liked shooting canons across my enemies during their futile attempts to scale the walls.

Panorama molto bello, totalmente in battuta di sole, quindi attenzione e un pezzo del percorso tra i campi non battuto. Una bella camminata

This was a great dog friendly trail! I wouldn’t recommend my recording as I didn’t really stick to the trail and went through some water to get across. Although it was fun, I’d stick to the trail if you don’t want to get wet! 3 stars because there were some trees coving the trail that we had to go through !

Came here for a day trip and was stunned by the town. Did all of the historical things and then decided to hike this trail. Only complaint was the main stretches of road with no sidewalks and heavy traffic. Gravel roads were very quiet with stunning views. Waypoint I marked was confusing part of the trail that went through somebody’s yard. Just avoid if you see it and pay attention. Also last quarter of the trail is straight uphill so good conditioning is necessary. Pretty solid hike and beautiful town.

Impassible after the first km. Flooded, dirty, lots of trash. Do something valuable for yourself and have a cup of coffee instead.

très beau paysage, beaucoup d'arbres sont tombés sur le sentier ce qui rends un peu plus compliquer le chemin, nous avons suivi le sentier principal qui est en pointillé.

Nice trail, we got company by a stray dog for some km. Can recommend lunch in San Gusmè.

very nice hike. Just a litle bit dangerous on the road with the cars at the beginning and in the middle of the walk.

Beautiful small valley garden; some ruins, a gorgeous cascata grotto at the bottom of the trail. Plenty of shade and benches to rest and take in the sights and sounds. Clean restroom stops along the way. Trails are well maintained; two or three were closed for maintenance. Map was provided upon entry. Family entry (2 adults and our 3 bambini) was 19 euro. At end of trail, a small gift shop/cafe, and bathrooms. The two small temples at the end were nice. Easy hike, good footwear (athletic shoes) recommended. Strollers not allowed.

Beautiful views of vineyards and the old town. My only complaint is that it can be dusty when cars pass you on the gravel road.

By far one of the most enjoyable trails I ever did, almost senic the whole hike! I recommand to walk anti-clockwise, the benifit is that you have a gradual ascent and a bit steeper descent. Also this way you are on the sunny side when you finish. After you negotiated the man made bridges and are back on the open part of the mountain, i recommand to take the higher route to Theodor Christomannos point before dropping down.

Beautiful views at the lakes. I didn't expect so many people, but you can drive all the way to the lakes.
