Great trail. 22000 steps. 6 plus hours including an hour at the beach. Thousands of steps . Some areas had very narrow trails Up high along some very steep cliffs. Avoid if you have Vertigo. Spectacular views. To the pictures I included on the route

Great experience!! Doable for anyone from hiking shoes to flip flops!! Freestyle to hiking sticks!!

Incredible views of the Amalfi coast from amazingly high points of view.

Rocky and sandy path, shoes with grip highly recommended in case of slippery rocks

This is one of the most gorgeous hikes I have ever done. There are sweeping views of the hills and the water from almost every step. I went on a weekday after lunch, and it wasn’t too crowded. There isn’t a lot of shade so take a hat and sunscreen. Be sure you’ve got sturdy shoes because there are some really rocky parts that are easier with ankle support. Instead of taking the stairs down to Positano or the bus back to the starting point, we just did the trail out and back. It made for a good workout. It was a good intermediate trail, requiring some fitness but no special skills. I wouldn’t say there was anything that requires technical expertise. Those with fear of heights might not love it.

One of the best hikes ever.

We hiked this trail in running shoes and enjoyed the scenic views. There are a ton of rocky steps that are slippery from being worn over the years. Many hikers and we only did put & back but heard from others that it was pretty much the same.

We did the opposite of what most people do, going from nocelle to Bomerano on the path of the gods. It was hot, sun exposed, and height exposed, which made it more difficult than intermediate in our opinion. The descent turning down to bomerano was pleasant, and we had a nice, but long bus ride down to amalfi.

The views are amazing but you honestly have to be in pretty decent shape to do it. I wouldn’t recommend doing it if you’re pregnant at all. There’s a lot of ups and downs, even if you start in Agerola.

This trail was amazing. Definitely start in Agerola at the Bomerano stop. So many stars at the end.

I started at 7:30am on a Tuesday from Bomerano and the sights were unreal. Not another soul on the trail. Hiked all the way to Nocelle and then through Montepertuso and then down to Positano. The trek from Bomerano to Nocelle was easily an hour and 45 min and then maybe another hour to Positano. Coming back I opted for the bus from Positano back to Nocelle which cost 1.30€ and then it was another hour and 40 min back. The trail was packed on the way back so start early to have it for yourself

Breathtaking view all the way to the top!

Stunning… Simply stunning!
