Fantastic trail. Awesome views. Lots of climbing over rocks challenging but definitely doable. My husband thought he “saw GOD” on this trail. His advice. Take the bus to pistanio. Skip the steps !!

Beautiful views... moderate difficulty!

Took about 2 hrs to Positano beach then 2.5hrs on way back. Views amazing.

Beautiful views. A little bit harder than a walk. A lot of scrambling up and down rocky dirt paths. Quite challenging in parts

Such an amazing trail!!! Don’t miss out! The amazing views of the Mediterranean from the Amal fo coast can not be paralleled. If your stamina is up to the challenge, keep going at the end of the trail. The stairs to the town of Positano are not for the faint hearted but very rewarding. Grab yourself some lunch and some lemoncello. But be aware, the stairs back to the top is much more challenging. You can take a bus back to the top for a small fee.

We did a return hike starting from Positano (starts with over 1500 stairs to even get to the start of the hike). The hike was incredible! The views are sensational and the path itself was fairly good. Highly recommend to anyone!

Stunning… Simply stunning!

So amazing! if you love hiking this is a must do if you are in the area! By far one one my favorite hikes. if you are in decent shape you will not have a problem. difficulty rating is moderate! Bring water and enjoy the amazing scenery and veiws. At the end walk down to the beach and swim in the Ocean

We walked from Positano to the nearest point marked with a camera symbol. The stairs up were very challenging, but with a lovely view. most of the section we walked was on road.

Absolutely stunning throughout. I'm a beginner so it took me longer than some people have said, approximately 4.5 hours including a short lunch break. It seemed a bit dangerous at times. Don't trust all the wooden "fences", as some are broken.

Good overall hike with a couple opportunities to add some mileage. Did not love the road section but a must do with some great views of the coast. The trail itself does not ask too much but the stairs will.

We did this trail as part of a group tour the first week of October. We started in Bomerano, went out the “low path”, then circled back via the “high path”, rather than continuing on to Nocella and Positano. Going from Bomerano toward Nocella is certainly the more easy direction. We are hikers/cyclists/runners, so the loop seemed to well fit its moderate category. That said... a good portion of our group was unprepared (although warned) for the more difficult loop back toward Bomerano, which was primarily up hill. There is very little shade along the path, so be prepared with plenty of water and a hat! We also passed a couple of picnic tables, which would have made for a place to have lunch with a fabulous view! We did the hike in our running shoes, but would certainly have preferred to have had our hiking shoes, as the trail was slick with loose rock in some places. If you have a general level of fitness, this trail is beautiful!!! If you’re a “walker” but unaccustomed to hills and some minor scrambling... you may want to consider modifying your route and turning back for Bomerano a bit sooner than you feel might be necessary.

Did this trail in August 2019. It is a beautiful hike. Looking down on coastal towns through above the clouds was amazing. The over 1500 stairs down to Positano were challenging but doable. The lemonade at the small village just before the end of the hike was a great treat.

This trail is magical. Challenging because of the rocky terrain but we would recommend to take your time and enjoy every view. It might be my favorite hike I’ve ever taken! It’s not to be missed!!!

Definitely recommend starting in Nocelle and hiking to bomarando the. Coming back. Go early in the morning or week days. Loads of people/tours early afternoon to late afternoon. Makes for a long hike. Definitely loads of fun and worth it. Bring lots of water and decent hiking boots. Also hats and sun tan lotion. A good chunk of the hike is in the sun.

Very beautiful trail with fabulous views looking into Positano.. most challenging part is near the end a tough 1700 steps down to Positano... your calves will know all about it for a few days but worth it

Hiked this last week 9/09/2019. Started at Nocelle and ended in Bomerano, didn’t bring any hiking boots and hiked this in Lakai skate shoes. Mild/moderate elevation gain very doable for anyone in decent shape with basic hiking experience. The only killer is the heat, little to no shade and in middle of the day, heat is absolutely brutal. Brought 3 liters of water and drank it all. And we missed the bus back from Bomerano to Amalfi twice before catching it back down there. Incredible views with some exposure throughout trail. Hoards is people hiking the other way from Bomerano to Nocelle.

Really beautiful. The views are magnificent. I saw many people in gear not appropriate for the trail like sandals, no water, no hat. It was a nice trail.

There has been some mistakes in the markings which lead to loosing couple of hours. We tried 3 different ways and hoped to go throw the off-road. The last one was a long stair of hill to Pogerola. Took a bus from there.
