Nice easy walk with a lovely view. The path is quite clear. The town is also worth a view... and a lunch, it is very cute.

lots of stairs but amazing views!! did this hike in 2018 in May.

amazing views! would love to go back again

no designated parking for the hike. there's moderate to low incline, and lots of loose rocks. the first half is decently shaded, but the second is mostly in the open.

Perfect if you're going with your family

This is a ROUGH hike. The leaves made it slick but the view was SO worth it!!! Highly recommend hiking sticks and some good hiking shoes!

What an awesome and hard trail! Took us about 2 hours to the top. Need solid hiking shoes/sticks. Lots of loose rock so be careful. Bring layers, food, water. My dogs loved it!!!

Nice flat trail around a beautiful lake! Half of it (East side) was on gravel path and went through beautiful wooded areas, right next to the lake. Other half (west side) was mostly on the street. Would probably stay on east side. The lake itself has lots of grassy areas, picnic tables, great for family gatherings!

Due to snow & ice we were unable to complete full loop. However, we did scramble to WW I observation post. Too beautiful not to return.

An absolutely stunning hike and the lake is well worth the climb. As people have mentioned, it is a little tricky in a couple places but my 3 kids (14, 12, & 6) made it. We got there early and took our time.

Just one of the most beautiful hikes you will ever do.

Bello e facile

My kids (6yr, 11yr and 13yr) have declared this their favorite hiking trip so far. We got to the bridge, went across, then decided to go back across the bridge to scamper down to path 4. They played in the water, then we set off across the obstacles to come. There are places where you have to hang on to chains and metal bars to stay on the path and a couple ladders to go down. The path back up was rocky and steep but we reached the top (with a few breaks on the way up) with smiles on our faces.

My kids have named this their favorite trail so far (6yr, 12yr 13yr). We took a little different route than noted here. We started at Malga Biancari on Path 5. We crossed the tibetan bridge ate lunch then came back across to scamper down an unmarked trail to trail 4. On trail 4 through the Val Sorda, there are a couple of small ladders and places you need to hang onto the chains. The trek up to Malga Biancari was steep and rocky but we made it with smiles on our faces. This was a fun and exciting place to hike with great features and wonderful views at the top.

I loved this trail! It’s a harder hiking trail. I recommend walking sticks and good shoes. It was an exhausting amazing hike with a good view
