One hour from jerusalem and you’re in a different world - landscape, climate...terrific winter hike if the road leading to the area isn’t flooded. Some on the edge curves but mostly gentle elevation change. Take water!

Beautiful trail in the desert, pay small fee and get in. Nice waterfalls and ponds. Add a hike to DUDIM CAVE and waterfall up by the signs.

It was a wonderful hike with views out of this world. I ended up going 10.6 miles counting the walk from the Ein Gedi Kibbutz. I have hiked a number of difficult trails, but for the short distance this is a very difficult trail. But very much worth it.

Really great trail, very beautiful view. Suitable for families and small children. Take with you enough water for the trail in the summer and spring season

A beautiful hike! Would definitely do it again. Start early enough to see the sun rise above the Jordanian mountains. Also take something to cover your head, there is almost not shadow along the whole trail.

A lovely hike with a worthwhile endpoint. Wear a bathing suit, bring water shoes and drinking water. We saw multiple families on the trail. Enjoyed the hike and went on to float in the Dead Sea.

Beautiful land, picturesque waterfall and natural swimming holes. Wildlife viewing. Popular hike so expect lots of company. bring lots of water. Highly recommended

Such a beautiful experience, with water features all over. Even on a hot day it is refreshing to hike.

steep and dangerous hike if you go in hot water, there is zero shade for the first few hours of the hike, make sure to take enough water, when its very hot make sure to take at least 5-6 liter, although in hot weather you might need more, trail is very steep in the beginning and then you walk almost straight, and then its downhill very rocky downhill too,

This is a very simple trail with beautiful views! Not too steep and very short. Tons of wildlife to see along the way and some nice streams to dip your hands and feet into. The oasis is so lively and green!

The waterfall at the end makes it all worth it. Easier hike but can get really warm in the valley.
