Excellent hike, lots of climbing, very difficult. make sure to have good footwear, water and food. not really child friendly....quite a dangerous climb

Fabuleux!!!

Very enjoyable route, nice swim before making the decent to the car park. Will be returning!!

Fabulous hike, fantastic views. Definitely worth doing. Would advise to do the loop clockwise. Some parts are quite steep and there is a bit of scrambling needed.

Amazing. We did it with two children aged 9 and 11 in an anti-clockwise direction. It was great. Some rock scrambling in places so smaller children might have difficulty. Also be prepared for four seasons in one day. Best views from top are worth the effort.

stunning views. recommend.

Beautiful hike! Sat at the lake, flew some drones, talked to some sheep! Recommend the easier trail to the right when it splits. It will give you a more “scenic” view and just take a bit longer than the left side, it is very rocky and steep.

Fabulous route with great views of the lake. Good for a quick swim in it as well.

Tough hike with fab view. Top can be extremely windy with no shelter to hide.
Alltrails app is very useful not to mistake sheep tracks with hiking path.

Maybe the most breathtaking hike I did in Ireland. The views from the top are amazing, highly recommended.

A fabulous hike with great views over the lake and all the way to the sea. Some parts need hand and foot and you get close to some sheer drops but it makes for fabulous pictures and views. And you can finish the hike nicely down at the lake and dip your feet in. A spectacular loop walk well worth the effort!

Beautiful and easy hike The structures were really nice. We started by heading to the left first up the steeper hill. Then followed the trail down to the next towers and bridge. Beautiful little waterfall and a picnic table. Can be done in about 30 minutes but we spent over an hour there. Perfect for families or to bring a dog

Great trail, took about 45 min with stopping and wondering. We parked and started to right side which took us to the "gates" first. Didn't encounter many people which was nice to just listen to the birds and other nature sounds. In the back was a pretty cool waterfall.
