Very enjoyable hike and a treasure of a park, less than an hour away from Dublin. Some trails are better marked than others, but manageable terrain either way. If you use the coordinates that AllTrails offers to find the park, it will bring you to the entrance, where I began my hike. If you keep going on the road slightly right of here though, it will bring you to the other car park (which I realized well into my hike). This brings you closer to the river and cliff trails. From the cliff trail, you can easily access the other trails that meander through the interior of the park. Great variety of both scenery and sounds on this hike. Highly recommend!
To note: I had to stop the recording of my hike a bit early as my phone was low on battery, but as you’ll see from the map, it was fairly easy to loop back to where I began.

This is a lovely, easy trail which leads to a picturesque waterfall amidst the Comeragh Mountains. Upon arriving to the falls, you can scramble your way up the rocks and steep hillsides to the top of the falls and enjoy gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape.

lovely walk especially in the summer

Gorgeous route running above the road we’ve driven many times. Stunning sea views. A track most of the way then the option to climb a few hundred yards to a peak.

Beautiful trail. Fantastic views. Busy route but lots to see. Great photo opportunities.

Nice views!! Only be prepare for rocky downhills in some parts!! Anyways I definitely recommend it!!❤️☘️

Great hiking
One side( right) steep and a little more difficult , but we’re protect from the hard wind .
Going down , on a easier way . Also rainy , partially fog and windy day. But worth a lot the gorgeous journey .
It’s possible to do the hiking just t’ll the lakes , around 2h round trip .

Great for family, especially if unplanned as paths are all tarmaced, nice playground for children, and a coffee, ice-cream stall!

A challenging hike. Don't underrate it.

Stunning hike from Glenbeigh to Kells Vo Kerry. Some incredible spots looking over the best sea views Ireland has to offer.

Very quiet route today, only sounds of sheep & birds to meet you company. A must do if your in the area!

Lovely trail with diverse views of landscapes including Powers Court Waterfall, the Sugarloaf and some other hills and valleys. Clockwise is easier. Counter clockwise for those who want to work up a sweat.

Perfect moderate trail that includes the famous cardiac steps at the start abs opens up to a lovely view of the lakes. Also includes a forest trail.

Nice trail with a wide diversity of landscapes
start on the lower part, following the lake. It will be easier and more interesting. You'll also not start with 1000 steps to go straight to the upper part and you'll have better views.

great hike, not too bad as far as difficulty. Rain & fog rolled in just as we were doing the actual mountain so we couldn't catch any of the view. But even with the rain, the wood on the trail was not slippery because of a wire mesh they installed on it. Nice to walk on.

Excellent hike. Not too strenuous.

We ended up only having time to hike out to the point and back from the side of the road. It was breathtaking.

A great walk.

Great photo opportunities along the river bank. Enjoyable walk.

Really pretty even in the rain. The board path around the lake keeps you on the trail. The boards are covered with the mesh so no worries about slipping. Third of the walk is under the canopy of trees

Amazing views of the valley below.

First half of the walk was well described and the view was as good as promised. I'd return by the same route next time as the second part of the description wasn't good.

Beautiful views of rugged terrain and herds of sheep throughout the hike.

where are they getting 17klms for this walk? it's only 6.5 klms. Very bad error!

Super views

This hike was a lot better than expected. The trail is well marked and easy to follow with beautiful view points along the way. The weather can be unpredictable, however the rain and consequential Rainbows made it worth it.
