Nice views!! Only be prepare for rocky downhills in some parts!! Anyways I definitely recommend it!!❤️☘️

The city views are nice in the first hour but the best part is after the traffic noise from the m50 subsides. I was actually shocked how audible it was and for how far. I would also add a word of caution for the very last stretch is on a main road with no foot path. I found that very stressful especially with a dog in tow. When you’re in the middle though it is spectacular. I would do it again, maybe figure out a different way of getting back.
I did it in five hours including two stops for a cuppa! one of which was in a lovely cafe just before the precarious bit of road.

did the whole trail this august, a marvelous trail for those who want to see something else than tourists !!! Great walk, it took me 6 hours to do it and take my time to apreciate the sightseeing and meet otherwalkers !!

Great views, good for hiking and running and biking.

An easy trail, good for trail runners. You can see most of the city on a sunny day. It's very easy to get to from the city. Timbertrove càfe is lovely for a nice coffee or lunch after your hike.

havent been there and there was no review so i wanted to be the first

Amazing hike! loved it!

Awesome hike! Perfect to see the many different aspect of Ireland's natural habitat. You'll start out going through a paved/gravel path through the mossy woods that takes you around to a mountain side trail with great views of the ocean/city. Don't forget to stop off at some of the burial sites along the way, especially the Ballyedmonduff Wedge Tomb. In order to get there you need to go off the loop trail and down the mountain a ways, but it's worth it when you get there. Lastly, when you get to the Fairy Castle peak, even the most skeptical of hikers would be satisfied. Following this rolling green mountain ridge is everything that people want to see in an Ireland hike. We got lucky while up there and had some fog roll in creating a really awesome and eerie environment. The hike took us about 6 hours, but could be done in 4-5 if you're an experienced hiker. We usually like to keep it casual and take in the views. Be sure to finish the hike before sundown. The last portion is on a really tight and windy road that's not well catered to hikers. Safety first! Cheers!

Nice easy walk

Very beautiful! Views were amazing!

A bit too easy and short and too many people on trail.
