Very nice walk, quite easy. Did this September, was very very windy on the top...

Beautiful views of Ireland

Great scenery, a bit rough in areas but definitely a top favourite for a quick hike

Really beautiful hike. Solid ground and boardwalks. Wear rain gear. Clouds come in fast with high wind action.

I've done this a few times and it always took longer than suggested. Maybe I just like looking at all the things there are to look at.... There are lizards amongst the rocks at the right time of year and the birds of prey that hunt them hang on the warm winds above your head. Imagine! People used to live up here!

Ankle breaking! Not for runners or new hikers. Lots of loose stones and then FELL!

Very accessible hike due to the fact that the facilities are at the top. I will advise you, it is only my humble advice to start from the left of the hike, and finish with the miners' route. Why this advice simply because the miners' road is very steep uphill and much easier downhill. Hiking in good weather, however in case of light rain, choose to start with the miners' road, it will be easier to climb than to go down (risk of slipping). Otherwise beautiful panorama arrived at the top.

Really fun hike, not to hard on the legs at all. Beautiful scenery. Very muddy in places so Waterproof boots are a must. Just keep an eye on the alltrails map whenever your unsure where to go. 5 star app for keeping you on the right track. Overall great day out. Takes roughly 3/4 hours depending on pace.

Nice hike over forest paths then onto slightly rockier paths. Easy hike up to the top. Beautiful views every way. Dog friendly. Great on a clear day.

Very fun hike - hard to spot a few of the turns at the beginning but worth it. Make sure you just follow the red line in the AllTrails app closely and you’ll be fine. Ends up rejoining part of the red trail and later the white trail at the end. Bring real hiking boots if you want to try this one out - the day I went, it was very very muddy for about 3-4 miles at the top of the mountains. Beautiful, 360 degree views for much of it! Highly recommend.

that was lovely!

really nice. the tank at the end is not crazy but the way to get there is very cool. With montes, hinds and ibexes that accompanies you.

Great hike. As we had a clear sunny day, the views from Maulin were fantastic encompassing Dublin Bay, Howth and beyond, Dalkey, Bray, Greystones, the Sugar Loaf and Djouce. The way down was a little slippery until we reached the stile into the woods and walking poles would be beneficial for anyone with dodgy knees.

Nice trail....

Did this on 14/09/19,in some places quite muddy, last hill some climbing after all this distance... Enjoyed it... Took me 5 hours 30 minutes

A moderate level hike with spectacular views of Lough Tay and Lugalla. A mixture of boardwalk and stony grass terrain. Definitely one to do.

We did on the 7th of September, muddy at the places, but nothing too bad, later in autumn gonna be much worse i can imagine. Very very nice place, well worth to be seen... Might came back to do from different directions...
