Not the prettiest day, but even in the rain the trail was beautiful! I hiked up to Bray’s Head and walked along the hill and through a pasture and caught up to the main path later on.

Hiked from Bray - took about an hour and 20 min. Last 20 min was through construction so I elected to train it back to Bray. Good running trail

if taking the trail from the cross towards Greystone there is a new gate that shows how to get on the lower path (a bit of rock climbing involved)

This trail is gorgeous and easy to do. However, it is not fun when it’s overrun with unprepared tourist, who, at narrow areas, refuse to go single-file. At times, you’ll find the trail covered with rubbish and dog waste. Many people arrive dressed unprepared, causing traffic jams as they try to navigate puddles of muddy water, without touching it with their new trainers. This is an amazing site, and a great experience - but if you are looking for a hike for zen; this isn’t it.

This is quite long and narrow, a good one to bring kids on but not buggies or bikes.

Did the trails with the kiddos. Its moderate to easy and the view up top is the cherry on the cake

Parasailors above and the ocean down below. Convenient for us that both ends are close to the railway DART stations so that we can take the kiddos along (one-way).

Nice and groups are welcome!

I just completed the route and it is not far off 17km you can make it longer than the map if you want. To confirm it's Bray-Greystones and back. Great walk I went on a cold windy day and still amazing.

Such a beautiful trail and fairly easy. We went Greystones to Bray.

I went Graystones to Bray and feel like I would have preferred the other way (maybe it’s named Bray to Graystones for a reason :) Most of the pictures I took were behind me. Nice, wide, well-maintained path. I’m a fairly fast walker and it took 2 hours, with lots of picture stops. I even got video of a train entering the tunnel midway where the cliffs are the best for pics.

Lovely walk with great scenery. I did it last summer in glorious sunshine. Easily managed by most people. There is a slight incline at the beginning, it’s flat from there on, 6.5km each way. Lots of places in Greystones to lunch and if you aren’t up to the return journey you can avail of the train to return to Bray. In 1 or 2 spots the path had narrowed to just space for 1 person but nothing a good hedge trimmer can’t sort.

did the walk from greystones to bray, which is better as you get a better view arriving at bray than greystones. pretty flat trail with an amazing view of the coast, quite quick, around 1h30, can be done in an hour if you are a fast walker and dont stop for pictures.
