Where to park and start this hike was hard to find. Ended up parking at the car park near the Wicklow trail. Made it an extra good 5 miles to walk.

great hike . trails hard to find In places but beautiful .

I just completed the route and it is not far off 17km you can make it longer than the map if you want. To confirm it's Bray-Greystones and back. Great walk I went on a cold windy day and still amazing.

Such a beautiful trail and fairly easy. We went Greystones to Bray.

I went Graystones to Bray and feel like I would have preferred the other way (maybe it’s named Bray to Graystones for a reason :) Most of the pictures I took were behind me. Nice, wide, well-maintained path. I’m a fairly fast walker and it took 2 hours, with lots of picture stops. I even got video of a train entering the tunnel midway where the cliffs are the best for pics.

Lovely walk with great scenery. I did it last summer in glorious sunshine. Easily managed by most people. There is a slight incline at the beginning, it’s flat from there on, 6.5km each way. Lots of places in Greystones to lunch and if you aren’t up to the return journey you can avail of the train to return to Bray.
In 1 or 2 spots the path had narrowed to just space for 1 person but nothing a good hedge trimmer can’t sort.

Decent hike. We did it clockwise. There are sleepers all the way up. Lots of easy steps. View at top is great. Going down to river is easy too. After that the descent is a bit rockier... so it just slows you down. Final bit is flat to the car park. Great places for picnic on top or by river. Our dog came with us in lead. Recommend in almost any weather.

Easy and pleasant trail. Somewhat crowded.

Great Trail with nice views. Very well maintained and easy to hike.
Caught a windy and rainy day and still it was fun.

did the walk from greystones to bray, which is better as you get a better view arriving at bray than greystones. pretty flat trail with an amazing view of the coast, quite quick, around 1h30, can be done in an hour if you are a fast walker and dont stop for pictures.

Lovely walk on a Saturday morning.

Really nice day walk.

lovely and easy walking

great scenic walk

easy with amazing view

Nice trail with a wide diversity of landscapes
start on the lower part, following the lake. It will be easier and more interesting. You'll also not start with 1000 steps to go straight to the upper part and you'll have better views.

A great walk.

where are they getting 17klms for this walk? it's only 6.5 klms. Very bad error!

Super views

Break away from the northernmost part of the trail where it meets the 500m mark in the map and make your way along the cliff top. Make your way east to cross the river that feeds Lough Tay at 300m (for an especially beautiful river crossing) and make eastwards across the main road and onwards to the peak at Djouce (for a singular view of Wicklow and Dublin). Then follow the Djouce boardwalk (sleepers) back to the car park. A long walk but beautiful. Maybe 6 hours all in all with breaks. Tired legs.

We did nice family walk. On half way and we have been stop by one very rude ranger. Walking with river is not allowed. This all is private property. the only paths are the black one on map. do not use thos trail if you dont want to have problems!

I love this walk and do it as often as possible.
