This is a very manageable trail and is almost completely groomed. There are great views of the ocean, and the trail is a wide gravel path at the start that becomes about 500 steps of wooden beams as the trail gets steeper.Show more

Length: 49 mi • Est. Multi-day
The Sligo Way is an 80 km route beginning at Lough Talt in the Ox Mountains and ending in the town of Dromahair. The route has incredible views throughout the entire trip, including Ben Bulben, Donegal Bay, and the Nephin Mountains. The route has some gentle incline, but is relatively flat for the most part. Along the way, there are megalithic tombs and bogs to pass through.Show more

There is no trail per se but a lovely beach walk. The sheltered backstrand is a bit muddy and covered in lugworms so you may want to wear footwear, the beach is spectacular though. You can explore the grassy dunes in the centre or walk around Connor's Island but respect the farm property. Show more
