Very easy cycle around the boglands. Family friendly and not too busy, even on a sunny day. There were a lot of people in the car park and around the bike rental area, but came across very few on the route itself once we got going.

Nice trail for running.Mix of fire road and woodland single trail.

Went on a wet day so it was muddy which was expected. Lovely walk with the dog, even saw some squirrels!

A beautiful relaxing walk not too taxing on the uninitiated. A magnificent view to the north, across the midlands, on a clear day.

a lot of road walking on this route, we started in cadamstown took the river route, which was fine following trail through woods along River Bank crossed Two fields onto road followed this road to ballyboy where we went back on river trail this was through a lot of land with cattle on its the fencing was down unhappy cattle had to get out of Fields and go along edge of River followed this into kilcormac took a break at River and then followed road to Loughboora park this was along roadside for a couple of kilometres when we reached Loughboora we followed on through the bogs tracks and trails which brought us to the grand canal way to pullough from where we crossed the canal bridge and headed to leamonoghan this was All along the back roads for 6kilometres it's hard on the feet arrived in leomonoghan there is NOTHING there except a cemetery and s sign up saying start of Offaly way/End of Offaly way.the Only shop is in kilcormac nothing in cadamstown so bring the usual food and water at the River bridge in kilcormac there's a petrol station where you can get hot food after that there's a restaurant in Loughboora after that there is no shops or restaurant until you reach pullough, there's s pub there the pullough Inn you could finish there as it's a 5k walking to leomonoghan on the road NOTHING there except the end of Offaly way. have a pint in the pullough Inn and enjoy.
