Easy flat trail, a little mucky in places in winter months... lovely pleasant walk, pity there are not benches at either end for a picnic

Great walk- well signposted! Loads to see - swans, birds, insects- walk along the river! The walk was quite level the whole way. A small part of it is private land so there is a gate to keep closed! Will definitely walk this trail again!

More sites are in the surroundings other than those shown on the trail. Review the map at the entrance centre first.

Thanks to the Alltrails app we drove from Drogheda this afternoon and had a lovely walk from around Porchfield as far as the Yellow Steeple. An "easy" trail but enjoyable.

Easy trail, very nice for a family walk.

such a gorgeous walk in the beautiful County of Meath. Easy trail with cows, birds, history and the roaring river Boyne. Highly recommend for a nice stroll.

Pros: Paved walkway between the river Boyne and a canal, starting at a car park (about 40 spaces) in Navan near the old mill and running all the way to Slane. Ideal for running during daylight. I walk my dog here but be careful of them near the water as the banks are steep in places. Cons: there has been a few "unsociable" people along this trail as it starts and finishes beside towns, but mostly at the entrances or near by and later in the evenings.
