Trail is beautiful but needs to be marked better for people who are doing it for the first time. You can hear and see the river for the full trail. Amazing place.

This one is really nice- easy to find the start and very scenic- you can stick to the trail or find your own and stay close to the stream. Perfect for dog walking, and nothing too strenuous. Managed to slip down a hill twice and daughter went right into the stream, purely due to lack of sense rather than anything dangerous... only downside stopping this getting a higher rating is there was some litter around. But really good.

The trail shown is actually the yellow one, not the blue one, and it is 6.4km long. It is beautiful and once you go up the hill there were no more people, only forest, water, birds, and bridges. :) The trail is not always marked well. There are many unmarked paths, just make sure you only turn when you see the yellow mark. It starts directly from the parking lot (no markings) between the parking and the road. Keep going until you see the first yellow marking, cross the bridge and go left up the hill. From then on it is marked until abou km 4 or 5 when you reach a semi-paved road. There you will no longer see yellow markers, only 1 red one leading back to the parking lot. There are only a couple of uphill bits so not too difficult. Good trail if you have been on a break and want to get back into it. I did the loop twice and it didn't get boring. :)

Great if you have a car. No pedestrian access to this. great if you live in Douglas as there is a trail in. great

Great walk for all the family. Take in Lady Bantry’s lookout on the way it’s a fair ascent for small lads but the reward when you get to the summit is worth it.

This is a fantastic and beautiful loop for anyone who wants to get back into trail running after a break, or anyone who is new to running. It is fairly easy with only one short uphill bit. Beautiful views, lush forest. It's 2.2km, so we did it 5 times and it never got boring. :)

Great loop trail with some good off trail routes too.

Lovley with a small bit off a hill

The best time to go to the Curragh Woods is during the month of May when Bluebells are sprouting everywhere! amazing!

good walk . instead of turning of to the red trail I go right up the hill to the top . a good hike up .
